First bites trying the mochi ice cream was a nice experience, but only a after a few bites you easily notice that the ice cream was not really that good and a bit too sweet. Their ice creams also melt so easily, so eating them can be very messy. Huhuhu. The green color of the ice cream was also too much it didn’t look appetizing at all. We also tried their matcha latte, but it was really bad. Whoever made their matcha latte recipe clearly has no taste. It tasted like they just bought match powder in the grocery and mixed it with the fresh milk you buy in the groceries. Very cheap tasting. We also tried their taiyaki. The fish bread with a filling inside and ice cream on top, but naaah. The bread was too hard than it should be to taste good. There was also nothing special with the filling.
Also, we wanted to try many more items from the menu, but many of their products were unavailable. There was no advance notice even to let the customers know the items that are unavailable. But if you’re going to make a business, especially a restaurant or cafe, why would you make one if most of your products are unavailable?
For the place, it was really small. You will have a hard time eating there even if you are just a couple. You may even be so unfortunate that the spot you’re going to get is the one with the unstable stable that may cause your drinks and food to fall all over.
It was supposed to be nice to have your photo taken inside and outside the cafe, but as I’ve said, the inside was small while for the outside, there’s always a car parking in front, so you really can’t get a good position to take...
Read moreCame across this shop weeks ago via social media and made a point to visit when the chance presented itself. Incidentally had a trip to Banawe, QC on 11 Sept 2024 and remembered to drop by this place. I came by at around lunch time. There’s only space for one car in front of the store. It’s a small space so best to literally just drop by or have dessert to go. If I remember correctly there were about 4 small tables. There are toasts, bagels and croissants as savory options but only the bagel was available at the time of my visit. I ordered a Matcha Mochi Ice Cream, which was recommended by the cashier as the best seller. As a Matcha lover I enjoyed their Matcha ice cream. It was sweeter than the typical authentic bitter Matcha taste. The Mochi was also enjoyable to chew on - just the right level of stickiness. I hope they open a branch in Makati because I doubt I would drive all the way here again from the south just for this. Lastly, I found it quite odd that charging is not allowed. I guess I’m quite used to cafes having no...
Read moreThe place is small however the food and drinks are worth it to visit. We ordered chocolate drizzled matcha ice cream with oreo and kitkat toppings, along with Honey Toast (Honey & Butter Bread) and Tamago Sando Sandwich (Egg & Mayo), we also ordered some drinks which is Aichi Signature Latte (Brown drink) and Strawberry Matcha Latte (Pink drink with Matcha Ice cream topping along with sandwiches on the pic), lastly we ordered Matcha Strawberry Float (Solo pic drink on the table) and Matcha Oreo Frappe (Solo pic with a hand). Those may look the same but are definitely different. I am also a Non Matcha lover due to the earthy taste or greeny feeling when you drink but this one here tastes different. It is much creamier and you won't even taste the match itself.
Note: *Be there early if you want their famous Mochi since we got there by the afternoon everything else like Dango, Daifuku, and Tanghulu were sold out fast and places were crowded. They have limited seats only for Dine In so most people just...
