Blake's Wings & Steaks - Katipunan — Restaurant in Quezon City

Date visited 5/7/18 8-9pm. I'm extremely disappointed and shocked by the manner Ms. Joy, the acting shift manager, handled this situation. At our table there was 1 Senior and 1 PWD (which was denied his privilege completely) . When we received our bill I was shocked to see their discount was multiplied by the number of guests sitting at the table for the individual plates they ordered. The PWD even ordered his plate before the rest of the guests arrived. When we confronted the Manager and requested to split the bill for both senior and pwd separately she refused and took it upon herself to deny their privilege. I'm personally disgusted that heartless/soulless individuals representing these businesses take advantage of the elderly and sick that cannot defend themselves get taken advantage. Let’s just say I ate well and felt good afterwards.

✅ Place is spacious— good for big groups and loud conversations. ✅ Brightly-lit space and great color palette! ✅ Good price point ❌ Took some time to give our bill.

💯 Beef Salpicao - The right balance of garlic, butter and Worcestershire sauce 👌🏽 💯 Shrimp Poppers - Idk what they did but wow it was an awesome starter!

🆗 Wings were cheap (~20 Pesos per piece if it comes to that). Taste-wise could be improved but I’ll try it again next time. 🆗 Baked mussels tasted good but not if you’ll eat a lot. The creaminess makes you get over it real quick. 🆗 Nachos were tasty but were not at par with my top picks.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! I’ve been to Blake’s in Mayor Gil and Feliz branches but this is by far the best service we’ve received 😬💕

Hats off to all these servers for a pleasant dining experience we had. They’re all accommodating and friendly. To think we were pa in the “more private” section at the back of the place. They could have easily missed us as we’re out of sight from their “counter” but we’re always being asikaso.

I didn’t get to take photos of the actual restaurant during this time but it was so spacious. Even the in between tables are spacious enough you won’t feel too cramped. For private event, they also have the “private room” can inquire about.

Restrooms have bidet Limited parking A little bit of waiting time but they’ll already accommodate you — great great service.
