Candid Coffee Culiat Town Center — Restaurant in Quezon City

I'm a coffee lover, kaya i was so excited to visit a new cafe. They had 3 types of pastries that looked amazing. I ordered their vietnamese latte, their recommended and best seller. It was 150 for small (around 12oz). I was confused na may additional 10php just for iced. They also asked me if i want to upsize (16oz), and i said yes. 190 in total. A bit expensive pero, sure.

I also asked for a service water, "40 pesos po bottled water" and i said no thanks. I asked kung may wifi, wala rin sila wifi.

Their vietnamese latte was okay. A bit disappointed lang kasi the amount was not matching the cup. I'm not saying na half empty sya, mga 1/5 empty siguro. Mind you, may ice pa yun. Pero baka 16oz na yun so i let it slide.

The ambiance was dreadful. It practically screams "NO Love for our dine in customers". The chair was small at walang sandalan, the tables have 3 legs at one wrong move will topple it over along with your drink. And it's almost the same height as the chair, like 1 inch difference. Standing tables would be more comfortable tbh, kesa nakakuba ka sa upuan mo. (see the pics at ikaw mag judge kung comfy) The walls and floor are dingy grey. The AC was barely working. I get it, all of these are probably on purpose so that customers wont stay for too long.

Buti nalang may dala akong pamaypay. I was there around 1pm, kaya tirik na tirik ung araw. I wanted something cold (pero 10php additional pag iced drink), i wanted water (40php bottled water), i wanted to cool off (AC is almost nonexistent). I really wanted to try one of their pastries too, kaso i was so uncomfortable sa seating na i got up and went across the street to a different cafe as soon as i finished my coffee. (i aint wasting coffee)

I would not recommend this cafe if you want to hang around and relax. if you're on-the-go, still no. Mas okay ka pa sa starbucks since presyong starbucks din sila, at least mas mabilis starbucks at may drive-thru pa. Pero, if you wanted different blends/beans to make...

Rates - out of all the coffee cart suppliers we inquired with, Candid had the best rates and packages. Affordable and there were multiple choices from their coffee and non-coffee beverages.

Quality and taste - all the beverages served during our wedding were good! All our guests (including us) loved the drinks and some of our guests even had second or third servings of the coffee.

Communication - we had no hassle in communicating with them. In fact, small conversations were exchanged during our planning phase but we were able to get everything we've requested.

Will definitely book them again for...

Among the best coffee available in Quezon City! A must-try when you are a coffee lover and are in the area. They have recently moved to a newer location along Tandang Sora. I usually order their flat white, which can hold its own against the ones I have in Australia (that says a lot about the quality of their coffee). The captions for their drinks are funny and add to the appeal of their brand. They have drinks of the month that are very creative and tempting to get. Their beans for home brewing are good...
