Classic Savory - SM City Novaliches — Restaurant in Quezon City

We had our lunch on August 26 2023 and celebrated my Mother's Birthday. They have family bundles avaialble if you wish to have varieties. It was good because they have lot of choices however the place was a bit congested. They squeezed in the tables and chairs until u need to adjust your place everytime there are new comers and while serving the food. I would like to thank the staff name "John" who is very attentive during our lunch and offer us lighter to light up my Mother's Birthday cake and a knife for us to slice the cake. I forgot the other male staff name as I did asked for couple of glass of water but he didn't come back and I saw him at the service station drinking his own glass of water. So I need to get the attention of 'John' to serve us water and he promptly brought to us. Twice they wrongly served food to our table supposed to be serve to another table number. A family favorite, mainly because of truly tasty dishes they offer that people are willing to wait a little, especially at busy times like lunch and dinner.

Pros: Delicious and delectable dishes. We highly recommend the patatim, salt and pepper squid, seafood fried rice (which you can already eat on its own. From our previous visit, we also liked the pancit canton, salt and pepper spareribs and buttered chicken. Lots of combo options you can choose from. Has their own small CR, so you don't need to go far to wash or pee.

Cons: It can get really crowded if you go either at lunch or dinner time, so bring some patience. They need to upgrade their seating arrangement. It feels cramped. The interior design is intentionally dated, but it feels homey that way.

Two of us came to dine. Food quality wasn't like before, the Lo Han Chai seemed to have broth. A large group came in, which included students in uniform, and some teachers even, kept making comments most likely, our way, that they were waiting for us to finish. So rude considering we just started to eat. They also kept looking our way, short of shooing us off. One guy kept talking to the other part of their group across our table in a loud voice.
