The French Baker — Restaurant in Quezon City

This is not how I remembered French Baker to be? 😫

Yes, it's aesthetic, and that's really their selling point. The pastries all looked very inviting in their display cabinet. If only they tasted as good. I had always been a fan of French Baker's Danish bread, but this one is just ok. And how excited we were to try their Korean cheesy bun. It was just bread with a LITTLE cheese in the middle. The proportion of the cheese is just not enough for garlic bread. We almost can't finish the bland bread. I wish we just ate the more affordable version in Dunkin Donuts. The strawberry shortcake is again just ok. Not memorable at all. And you feel scammed for the price you paid. The coffee and the juice are all the same. It's not something you would crave to finish. And it took them a while to serve our orders. There are not many customers, nor do they have to cook anything, so I was wondering why they are taking their sweet time serving the only customers they have. I just wish the look of the interior and the pastries on display as well as the price we paid would have given us a cafe experience worthy of the money we paid.

Tips: We were told they sell some bread at a discount before closing, but we didn't experience...

Inorder namin ay Spanish Roast Chicken pero ang hinain sa amin ay bulok na Manok, naamoy na namin habang niluluto nila, amoy patay na hayop yung amoy, nakakadiri pero hinain paren nila sa amin....

Sayang di na namin na picturan yun.. kase nakakasuka at pina alis na namin agad sa lamesa... They asked us if willing to wait daw lulutuan kami ng bago hahaha 🤣.

Wala man lang maayos na apology sa amin, sa nasayang na oras at sa abala.. our payment was refunded naman.but still...

Their clubhouse sandwich was so good. Also ordered Spanish latte with a small cookie. Servers were a bit busy. I love the quiet yet elegant...
