My lovely wife and I decided to try out Famous Country Waffles for the very first time . We were both surprised with its perfect location, its ambiance, generous servings, and quality of its meals. It’s a wonderful experience that you can share with your family or significant someone. We first started with the truffle fries as an appetizer. It was very delicious and unique in taste. We both had lychee soda along with that appetizer. That was very refreshing. Next we ordered the Parmesan Chicken with spicy pasta and Salmon. Both amazing dishes and the presentation was outstanding. Sorry no images on those meals. We were so hungry. Highly recommended. Next we tried both the Ube and Chocolate Champarado. Wow it was really good. The sweetness level was just right. The Ube had a unique twist because they layered Crème Brûlée on top of the Ube. Wow it was very delicious as well as the chocolate champarado. We loved the dilis which enhanced the tasting experience. Lastly, we went for the famous banana and caramel waffles. It was super delicious as well. It was crispy and soft upon biting the waffle. Both the caramel and banana enhanced the tasting experience. We had the waffles with white chocolate mocha and Kate’s hot chocolate (no sugar but, combined with 3 types of chocolate/no need to add milk). The quality of the foods we ate were all very good and priced reasonably. Is it worth it? Absolutely!! We will definitely come back again and it’s officially one of our top go to place to have a marvelous dining experience. In case the place is packed there is additional parking next to this fine restaurant. Thank you Famous Country Waffles!!!...

Read moreWhile we were patiently sitting outside waiting for our names to be called for a table for two, 2 tall Americans arrive and immediately door hostess says with a big smile “sir, let me check if there’s a table available”. This instantly triggers me because everyone else was asked to sign up and wait. AND we were still there right in front of her. Bad sign. (I understand it’s still soft opening but really? REALLY?!) The other hostess sees me glare, hurriedly tells hostess 1 to seat us first. First table given to us was sticky. Food took almost an hour, and wasn’t served at the same time. My husband’s food arrived first, was not very hot. After multiple follow-ups my order finally arrived 25 mins later (hot but there was a giant bayleaf in it that should have been removed before serving). I noticed the table beside us complaining of the same thing. Btw, while we (and a few other tables) were hungrily waiting, some of the staff sat outside (in front of the restaurant) and had lunch in full view of the dining area. Buti pa sila kumakain na.
Food was ok, not spectacular so overpriced for the quality and definitely not worth the wait. Honestly my husband just wanted to up and leave. The only thing that arrived quickly was the bill. We meant to try the waffles for dessert but I was afraid we’d be there waiting until 6pm and I was already too annoyed to care....
