Hap Chan - Pearl Drive Commonwealth — Restaurant in Quezon City

Food was delish and serving time was reasonable kudos to the chefs. Food was freshly cooked and was satisfying. Ambiance is nice, smooth and calm.

My only thumbs down was when I entered the restaurant. No friendly warm greeting "Good afternoon! Welcome to Hap Chan". Instead I got looked at from all the staff and one asked "Ano po yun?" as if i was lost or didnt belong there. Crazy noh? Paid with my UB credit card and no "Thank you for dining with us." Deserved no tip from me. Man, fast food restos and small business restos have better customer service then them. I don't think I'll be back to another Hap Chan. I'll dine at places thats happy to see customers support their business. Come here to enjoy the food from skilled chefs but set expectations that customer service can be poor...

When we arrived to this restaurant late in the afternoon, we were excited to try just about anything on their menu as we have not eaten anything all day. The service was great, friendly and professional. I’m quite disappointed with the service and food quality at Hap Chan Pearl Drive. The food, especially the Yang Chow fried rice, sometimes tastes spoiled. Particularly during the evening. Also, the staff doesn’t seem attentive; they don’t serve water even when they can clearly see that customers’ glasses are already empty.
