Really wanted this to be good. Sadly, the hype is not real. Bread was old and brittle. Moutabal was the worst I've tasted. The sour taste from the lemon or lime was too overpowering and the consistency was too watery. I don't think they even roasted it before mashing. The garlic sauce, which foe me is the most important thing for persian restos, was again sour. Their come ons were the variety of sauces available and the cheese topping available as an add-on. Although novel ideas, the taste of each one left much to be desired. The cheese sauce had some mozzarella in it but it lacked flavor. The keema was okay. The beef kabab was okay. I guess the fact that it wasn't owned by someone who originally came from the country the dishes came from plays a big factor. There simply wasn't anything authentic about the dishes.

This 24-hour Persian spot in Katipunan has been around for years—and for good reason. You can always count on it for a quick fix when those kebab cravings hit. The Beef Kebab is tender, though it could use a bit more flavor on its own. Good thing the garlic and spicy sauces are there to give it a boost. We upgraded to the Hassan Frice Rice (+₱90), and it really elevated the meal—I actually felt like I needed another set just to be fully satisfied. The Hummus with Pita makes for a solid starter. They serve it with calamansi, which gives it a unique twist that surprisingly works. As for the Persian Fried Chicken, it was just okay. If you’re craving chicken, you’re better off going for the Chicken Biryani instead.

Came around 7pm for dinner and luckily there was 1 more slot for street patking. Staff were very attentive to diners and got our orders quickly. We had chicken and beef shawarma plate, chicken and beef kebab plate, keema pie (pizza) strawberry yogurt and mango yogurt. Every food we ordered is must try. Looking forward to going back to try their other menu. Would not recommend lang this branch if you plan to spend long time to catch up and chat since the location is open and beside the highway. Aside from that, everything else is great.
