Lam Tin never disappointments. The food and service are consistently amazing. The quantity and quality you get for the price you pay is unparalleled.
Am feeling too full to write a proper review but I'll give it a go.
The asado with atchara wins. The atchara more than the actual pork asado because of the crispness of the veggies and the clean taste that the pickling solution lends to it. The asado itself is absolutely tender and is not too sweet.
The hakao is always a good choice. The dumpling wrapper keeps the hakao intact and Lam Tin does not skimp on the shrimp which was perfectly cooked and had just the right bite to it.
The spicy spareribs was a surprise. Not as spicy as the name boasts but is quite savory and is fork tender.
The broccoli in oyster sauce was cooked perfectly. Not too salty and cooked so well that I'll definitely order it again.
All in all, Lam Tin was and continues to be a great experience. I've yet to hear bad things from the friends and family members that I've taken to Lam Tin.
Pro-tip: avoid peak hours as it can get...
Read moreThis Chinese restaurant is definitely a gem for those looking for big servings at an affordable price. Their specialty, the Yang Chow fried rice, is a must-try and pairs well with the butter chicken and spareribs. The beef wanton mami soup is also a great choice for those looking for a warm and satisfying dish. The chicken feet and lumpiang shanghai add an interesting twist to the usual menu items, while the beef broccoli is a classic and delicious choice.
The only downside is the long wait, especially during weekends, but it's definitely worth it. The restaurant is often packed with customers, who are usually in groups celebrating special occasions or just having a family day out. It's also worth noting that they only accept cash payments.
Overall, if you're looking for delicious and filling Chinese food at a reasonable price, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to try their Noodles Feast, which is also a...
Read moreI am a suki (regular customer) of Lam Tin Tea House. Late in the week, every thursday or friday, when the ref is empty and i have no food to eat, i just call the restaurant and order white chicken rice for take out. Do not confuse it with just chicken rice, a different dish with light soy sauce. Last night, while i was at the MRT, i called lam tin and ordered the white chicken rice. When i got there, the hot dish was waiting for me. Leg and thigh quarter of a chicken steamed to perfection, with generous ginger sauce. Simple, comforting and unpretentious white chicken rice. For dine in and take out, one has to wait because it is always packed with diners. I give it 5 stars because, the employees are really patient and kind, even when they are tired late at night. The small tip box is at the cashier counter, right side. The employees rightfully...
