A Hidden Gem Worth the Visit

I've visited this place several times, even though it's a bit far from my house, and I just can't get enough of it. The food is simply delicious, and it's definitely worth the trip every single time. Two standout dishes for me are the Bulalo and the Sinigang na Baka—they're absolute must-tries. The Bulalo has that perfect, rich, and flavorful broth, and the meat is always tender, while the Sinigang na Baka has the right balance of sourness and warmth that makes it incredibly comforting.

Each dish I've tried has been consistently amazing, and it's clear they take pride in what they serve. The flavors and quality of the food always leave me coming back for more. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in the area—or even...

The “bulalo” or beef soup is definitely a winner and a reason to keep coming back. The sour version of the soup is something unique to this store and it is a variant not available in other famous “bulalo” places. There is limited parking, around three slots but you can park in the streets, as long as you keep it to one side. Their service is generally fast but right now they are renovating the place so the ambience is not good, but this is temporary. They also serve other good stuff like the fried tawilis and fried eel. If you are in a hurry, you can eat “carinderia” style outside or if you are taking your time, you can dine in their resto. A little downer is the dessert, not much to choose from. But a two-thumbs up for...

Expensive for the dish quality and contents that they serve and the type of eatery that this place is. I ordered sinigang na bulalo hoping that I will have a satisfying meal but what I got was just a flank of fatty bulalo covering WITHOUT a single shred of meat in it. To me, it's worth only P25.00, 20x way way down below the price that they charge the customer. I have tried their calderetta before - satisfying with its abundant sauce that's full of mashed liver taste. No vegetable ingredient included though. Just meat and sauce. This resto has a canteen atmosphere with a mall restaurant-priced dishes. It looks like an old ancestral house with its ground floor area converted into a...

Best Bulalo I ever tasted. My wife had Daing na Bangus & she loved it. During the past 30 years, I tried about 200 Bulalohans over the Philippines. By far, Bulalohan sa Ramirez is my top choice. Perfectly cooked tender juicy beef that doesn't stick between my teeth in a balanced sabao with a tasty marrow and 2 cups of rice. A rich meal that tastes like heaven. Did I mention the spacious clean restaurant & excellent customer service! All together brings me back to this Bulalohan at least once a week for a great meal with family & friends. Every visit, we share a variety of different dishes from the menu. All dishes are great but of course, the greatest of all, Bulalo Nilaga 😋
