Mang Inasal - Visayas Ave. — Restaurant in Quezon City

Jan 2025: This outlet is fairly new and one of those stand-alone branches that actually has relatively ample parking. I generally avoid Mang Inasal though I really like their chicken UNLESS I'm really ready to eat like I'm all alone at home, with one knee visible above the table. Well, despite the nicer ambiance, I'm glad to report that this Mang Inasal is like any other--sticky tables, rice on the seats and floor and always crowded. If you're lucky, the chicken is freshly grilled. If not, then it must've been drying somewhere in their waiting oven. Btw prices have gone up since the last time I visited a branch (almost a year ago) but the chicken size is smaller. Must be the taste (and unli rice) because people can't get...

Convenient location. 2 out of 5 ceiling aircon is operational at lunch time but I suppose the two ceiling fans compensates it. Does not accept credit cards and that somehow controls the volume of people coming in but do not under estimate the number of people dining in. The vacant seat with a signage "Make a friend..." somehow proves that when people are hungry, prefer not to make a friend first in order to share the table. Budget friendly meal with unli rice and soup.

Soft inasal chicken, easy to cut, easy to chew.

The interior has enough space for dining customers.

The order counter was clean and user friendly. 3 counters are functioning.

Condiments, soup, and spoon-fork station was really helpful for each dinner customers.

Very attentive and accommodating staff.
