Millie's All day Dining — Restaurant in Quezon City

Digging into Millie's delivery left me with mixed thoughts and a half-full stomach. Starting with the service, well, there's not much to chew on since it's delivery, but hey, timely arrival is always a win via Grab.

On to the food — Chicken Parmigiana, Gambas, and Beef Salpicao strutted their stuff and earned a reserved nod of approval from me, good flavor, a bit chewy. Now, the green salad gave me some pause. With a price that's a tad steep, the flavor and greens on the plate didn't quite justify the dent in the wallet. No fancy greens here, just your average lettuce.

Now, a crucial note – since this was a delivery gig, I reckon the overcooking might be due to the travel time. The food, while not stellar, was decently enjoyable but fell short of achieving "excellent" status.

A tip I picked up – when diving into these indulgent, oil-laden treats, arm yourself with a zesty citrus drink. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you for the contrast.

I could never find fault at Millie's and its the reason I stay at Microtel. They have changed the menu and I didn't get to try much this time round. Previously their club sandwich, western and local dishes were fantastic. I did try my favourites, the Lamb and Beef Calderetta which they have kept. And they do a perfect Mango Shake every time. Also their breakfast buffet spread is superb. However I had a 10 year old with me this time who is a real picky eater and doesnt eat much. 8 yr old and below eat for free while the 10 yr old would be charged 600 pesos for the buffet breakfast. All the boy wanted was rice, an egg and some tocino. Unfortunately the menu did not have a Filipino breakfast. And they also did not have a kids menu. In the end I ordered for him scrambled eggs and sausage which was too western for him to stomach. The food was wasted. I hope Millies can consider a local breakfast meal so the kids above 8 get to enjoy breakfast or consider a half price...
