I ordered via Grab Food at 4:30am because I was craving hot pandesal and crunchy peanut butter while in the middle of working the night shift. To my dismay, my craving turned into disappointment when the pandesal sent were cold and pre-packed.
I regularly order pandesal from different Pan de Manila branches, and they always serve their pandesal hot, regardless if it was baked earlier. The attendant will always warm your pandesal before handing it to you.
But this branch did not bother doing that. To think I ordered around this time (almost 5am) expecting that I will receive a freshly-baked batch, because it's early morning.
I was so disappointed because I know this is not their standard. Quality pandesal is best eaten hot. Or warm at least, and NOT cold, or from the day prior.
Nonetheless, this branch is accessible and easy-to-spot, as it is along Commonwealth Avenue just before you reach Ever Gotesco Commonwealth if driving towards Fairview.
