Food is good. Service crew has a lot to improve on communication. This is what happened - we asked the receptionist if we can request to split the bill (3 pax will avail the birthday promo, 1 pax will have a senior discount), she confirmed that we can (her name is MJ). We were then seated and accommodated to a table for 4 pax. We have written down our orders, then when our assigned server was taking our orders, he mentioned that splitting the bill is not allowed. Then he had to call his supervisor/manager. Then the manager starts talking about BIR and this is not allowed. We said the receptionist mentioned that we can split the bill. They left and said they need to check it. After a few minutes, a new server came and we need to explain our situation for the 4th time already.
We could have appreciated if the receptionist already mentioned to the assigned server that we requested to split the bill so we wouldn't have explained it so many times.
We could have appreciated if they are all aligned with their rulings of their promo and splitting bills.
We could have appreciated if they apologize for the inconvenience because we wouldn't have entered their restaurant if the receptionist did not allow the splitting of bill.
In the end they allowed us to split the bill. Servers were accommdating BUT we can hear the manager talking about the birthday promo rulings with his server and that they might get consequences on defying the rulings.
Well Mr. Manager, the right thing to do is talk with your team....
Read moreWe had the Red Demon King and the Wild Cheese Curry King.
Taste wise, feedback on the red demon king was it's just mild spicy around 2 - 3. It has a nutty flavor like tantanmen. For the Wild Cheese, it's alright. Salty and creamy at the same time. I just feel that it lacks protein. But yeah, in short - good portion of cheese ramyun, but ramen style, ramen nagi style.
For service and quality of food - it's standard. For this case, we've availed the promo 2+1 as long as you have a 2 full paying customer and 1 of them has an ID for proof of birth month. +1 is the butao king customizable.
Both limited king are priced at 600, so the bill was 1200 plus 10% service so total was 1320php for 3 bowls (2 if no promo). Definitely pricey, but I guess that's what you pay for quality ramen.
For service, same old. I just noticed that some sprouts (side dish/condiment) were almost depleted and were not refilled proactively. And we asked for service water - which should be automatic because of the expensive service charge.
Value: 4.7/5.0 Price: 4.3/5.0 Service: 4.2/5.0
Note: don't eat spicy / rich broths when you're hungry. It irritates...
Read moreWent to this restaurant because I wanted noodles for a late lunch. By the time I sat down and saw the menu, I was quite surprised to see that most items if not all were a bit on the pricey side. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a try. Not sure if I'm recalling it correctly but I think I ordered what they call as the Ebi Ramen (someone pls correct me on this if I spelled it wrong). I expected it to take a while before it gets served but lo and behold, the big bowl of Japanese specialty was immediately served in front of me in what seemed like just 5 minutes and there, on my first try, I immediately understood why it had to cost that much. The serving was big, the soup's consistency was thick, the noodles were cooked to my liking and the overall flavor was FANTASTIC. It was an awesome dining experience. The only downside there is is that most of items on the menu are served with pork. I had to make that day an exception just so I could order something. Hopefully, the management can read this and incorporate other dishes on the menu that serves other types of meat in order to provide alternatives for people like me who...
