I had dinner here with some friends, and wow, this is hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had. I've tried a few places in the Netherlands, but nothing compares to this. We walked in past 6pm, and there was no cue. As a starter for the whole group, we ordered 2 portions of the nachos, and they tasted good. I ordered two Lucha Tacos—one with chicken and one with carnitas. Even though the tacos are supposed to be served cold (I didn’t know), it was still absolutely delicious. The tacos were fresh and generously topped with lettuce. The chicken was definitely my favorite. I tried a bit of the chicken quesadilla from a friend, and the presentation was great. The fries tasted lovely, but the cheese in the wrap isn’t to my taste. The staff was incredibly friendly, and I loved the atmosphere. The interior design suits the place perfectly, and the music added to the vibe. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Keep up the great work 💕

I was not expecting the food to be great at first impression and from the raves I have been hearing, I told myself this dinner better be good! The restaurant offers a few choices of menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, tasty, and satisfying. Garlic mayo and guacamole made the burrito extra savory. One thing I like about the place is their quesadillas. I like it a lot. The only downside to Silantro is that because it was just a tiny place, the waiting time to be seated can get very long. Once we arrived, we saw the people in groups outside waiting to be seated. But hey - if you are on a budget and would want to get your money's worth, then it is going to be worth the trip. If you are looking for a place to dine and chat - this will be the place to go to since folks are so happy munching on their food that most are conversing at the top of their lungs. In my opinion, though, it was worth the wait and patience.

Gela and I craved something new on our recent trip to U.P. Town Center, so we set our sights on Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina. Hoping for a fiesta of flavors. We ordered the following dishes: 1) Beef Nachos (₱380) - The nachos came loaded with well-seasoned beef, offering a hearty bite in every layer. - They even brought three sauces for dipping: garlic, guacamole, and spicy chili. While Gela went for the fiery kick of the chili, I personally loved the garlicky punch and tang. - However, the cheese fell short – stretchy and a bit artificial compared to the melty goodness I prefer. 2) Rib Finger (₱190) - The mashed potato was the clear star, smooth and flavorful enough to steal the show - The ribs themselves, unfortunately, missed the mark. We requested them well-done, which resulted in a dry and chewy texture even with the accompanying gravy. Overall, Silantro Fil-Mex offered glimpses of greatness, especially in the sauces and mashed potato. But the unmelted cheese on the nachos and dry ribs left us wanting more. A service charge is added to the bill, so keep that in mind when budgeting for your visit. While I wouldn't call it a complete miss, there's definitely room for improvement on certain dishes. Next time, I'll stick to the mashed potato and try the ribs medium-rare to see if they fare better.

The secret to enjoying Silantro in UP Town is to go after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush. However, if you must go during said rush, they've expanded their dining area with more tables outside (about darn time). They still serve the best Beef Nachos alongside their refillable sauces. We always ask for their Caliente Wings to have the buffalo sauce on the side. Good value for money. I just don't like that they watch your table like a hawk and bus out your plates as soon as you seem done. Very passive-aggressive way to make sure each table moves along quickly. No chill. Do we recommend this place? Yes. Eastwood is far less busy even on weekends, so we still prefer that branch. Are we going back? Yes.

We visited on a Monday morning, it wasn't so busy and we were seated in 10 minutes. Nachos and quesadillas were served quickly while the rib fingers were served 20 minutes later. Nachos were same as before delicious with tender pieces of beef while the beef quesadilla contained "litid" parts of the beef which were tough. I skipped the beef and would recommend chicken or cheese instead. The rib fingers were average, cooked to my liking but not as tender as before. The branch was understaffed but they were still respectful and helpful. Please be kind and understanding specially during these holidays.

We always enjoy having dinner at Silantro whenever we get a chance to visit UPTC. Our go-to orders: Caliente Wings, Nachos, and Paella Fajitas. They also offer free refills on their sauces/sawsawan which is a win! We tried their Ligero Tacos (with Chicken), it’s also flavorful. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always refills sauces and water. They are attentive even if the resto is full. Expect to line up during meal times. On all the times we dined in, we had to wait for a few minutes.
