What happened: The manager, Irish, initially took our order for the ₱229 Original Bunch of Lunch Meal. We also informed her that we would order drinks later on.
Serving Experience:
First Attempt: They served us the wrong order — a Super Bunch of Lunch Meal instead. Irish, the manager who took our order, came to our table and argued that she took the correct order, when in fact she did not. We were very certain about our order because my friend even showed it to her directly from the menu. Despite serving the wrong order, the server still handed us the bill — even though we had not yet received the correct food. It was shocking and very unprofessional.
Second Attempt: Again, they served the wrong order — this time, a combination of Original and Super Meals. I even asked the server if the soup and salad they served were complimentary, and he replied, "No, ma'am, they are part of your order." Moments later, he returned to our table and took the food back. Imagine the embarrassment of having food taken away from your table — not once, but twice. It was extremely humiliating and disrespectful.
Billing Out Incident: When we were finally ready to bill out, I raised my hand several times to call the attention of the staff. However, no one approached us because they were busy gossiping ("chismisan") instead of attending to customers. This just added to the overall feeling of being disrespected and ignored.
Scam/Overcharging Issue: I also ordered a dessert — Brownies with Ice Cream worth ₱128. A male manager (wearing eyeglasses and with brushed-up hair) approached me and explained that they needed to issue the dessert under a separate receipt, because it was supposedly only available Monday to Friday. I agreed. However, until the time we left the restaurant, they never issued the separate receipt for the ₱128 dessert. This is highly suspicious behavior — not issuing a receipt after payment is against the law and could indicate fraudulent practices.
Root Cause: The root of all these problems is clear:
Manager Irish failed to take our order correctly and refused to own up to the mistake.
Instead of resolving the issue properly, she shifted the blame to a trainee server.
Additionally, poor leadership and unprofessional behavior (including gossiping during work hours) were clearly evident among the staff.

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a long-time fan of Shakey's or a first-time visitor, this new branch is definitely worth a visit for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

We went here to eat bfast and saw the huge poster outside abt the “breakfast or brunch” special they have, I tried calling the server several times but was ignored.
