Cheap eats but really really good. Very relaxed and simple food joint in the heart of UP Village... yes Maginhawa St. And probably one of those legit food joints in the area that is not over rated, with good delicious food to satisfy your appetite but very very affordable unlike as most of the restos and cafes in the areas that sprouted like mushrooms that are too pretentious gourmet wannabes and othet expensive food stalls in dime a dozen food parks... Sinangag Station has a good range of Silog Meals and home cooked food. Very homy and relaxed ambiance as if your eating in a simple kitchen. Nothing fancy, but hey your just hungry and want to fill your stomach with good tasty food that's right on the budget. For less than P50.00 tjey can even serve you a freshly made all natural fruit...

One of Maginhawa street's gems for night owls like me. They are open until late at night and they serve typical Filipino breakfast food that is nicely and delicously prepared. A plate of a complete meal (viand, fried rice, soup/broth, and usually a few slices of tomato) ranges from around 90 to 120 pesos. I usually come here late at night so food service is quick. Street parking is available but expect to find none during peak hours when all the shops in Maginhawa are open. Must try is the Tocino, chicken adobo flakes, and Tinapa. This place probably serves the cheapest frest fruit shakes in the area at 45 pesos a glass (yup, not plastic cup but a big glass). There are around 6 tables that can seat roughly 20...

Sinangag Station, also known as the Fried Rice Station, is a budget-friendly rice meal.

You can choose any viands from the fried rice set, and you will be given a complementary bulalo soup.

I ordered a Salisbury Steak. It was served freshly sizzling hot on the plate.

Inside the area, the food house is small, that can accommodate 10 persons.

Toilet is at the back of the kitchen, which has a narrow passage.

If you wish for small grocery items, it's neighbouring Turejo Enterprise is open even at 10 pm.

Sinangag Station is located along Maginhawa St. opposite Talisay Garden Cafe., and walking distance to Chinabank.

Parking, however, is lacking. You need to park...
