My father needed to be operated on at the Phil. Heart Center, and we needed a place to stay that wasn't expensive, and that would be near the hospital. What I liked with this apartelle is that parking is not a problem. You can park your car inside the premises, which is gated. It's also quite cozy because not very many people stay there, and it has a homy atmosphere. The staff is friendly. The location is very good, as it is a stone's throw from a grocery store, the City Hall, hospitals and a lot of restaurants. What we didn't like is the size of the room, which is really very small. If you're not careful, you'll bump into the furniture in there. The bathroom, as can be expected, is also very small. The shower and the toilet are joined together, so you can actually take a bath while doing your thing. The tv has cable, though, and the reception is quite good. Another really great thing about the place is the free wifi, which is surprisingly very fast. I got to download a number of movies while I was staying there. There is a cafe downstairs and they can serve you breakfast (not included in the overnight rate), and the food is actually very yummy. The can also serve lunch, which is also surprisingly yummy. They don't have a microwave, though...so expect to eat cold leftovers. Considering the price, which is around 800+ per night for a minimum of 7 nights (promo rate), you really shouldn't be complaining. Overall, I'd go back to this apartelle if I needed a place to stay within the area and I'm on a budget, and don't mind a small room and bathroom. It's clean and cozy and definitely NOT sleazy, so...
Read moreFirst we thought we are getting a "decent" room. For the lobby is kinda okay for the prices. Then we were instantly blown away when we opened the door, the smell in the room was so awful, like a foul odor. The bathroom doesn't have a door so the water gets splashed near the bed. Ofcourse we can't forget that the bathroom smells like someone peed off and left it for a month. The bed smelled so bad that we had to sacrifice not using a blanket for the night so we can overlay the uncomfortable feeling and awful smell. And the towel, wet and smelled like a dead rat, we used it then as a rug to dry our feet from bathroom (THEIR RUG IS ALSO WET AND SMELLED BAD) You can just tell from our experience how we're completely...
