My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Storya today. It was the first time for all of us and it turned out to be quite memorable. What made an immediate impression was the warm and friendly service by Noli, the restaurant manager, Rose and Jess who served us. They made us feel very much welcome from the moment we arrived. Noli was very helpful with suggestions. Talk about good first impression! We ordered the balsamic bleu shrimp salad and the salted tropical citrus salad. Delicious! For our mains we had the ala pobre roll, kare kare and salmon stake. The kare kare was the deconstructed type (not heavy in sauce, fall-off-the-bone beef shank, fried veggies and fish bagoong). It absolutely worked! The salmon steak had julienned veggies and mashed potato. It was mildly sweet and rich in umami flavor. The roll was an elevated lumpiang shanghai as it had vermicelli and toasted garlic bits. Perfect with sweet chili sauce. Oh, even the humble garlic rice was excellent. Dessert was N.Y.O. (Not your ordinary) sorbetes wc lived up to its name. It was a most delightful lunch. And then we had the pleasure of meeting the owner Renci Gutierrez, a lovely and humble young man whose life journey to where he is now is most inspiring. Storya is apparently doing well for a new restaurant and it is hardly surprising given what we experienced. We will most definitely be back and maybe try the bar with excellent food from the main menu. Storya is a gem of a find for us. Good food, good value, and nice people (and ample parking pa!) is a killer combo for a restaurant! I wish Renci, Noli and their team all the best. My heartfelt appreciation...

My friend and I were randomly exploring Teacher’s Village and found this gem by chance! We’re so glad we found Storya because the service is excellent! We were greeted by the owner and staff, and found a cozy seat. While waiting for our order, they serves us bread and sweet butter on house. Despite it being free, the texture of the warm bread was soft. The vibe is comfortable, it’s a mix of modern and filipino and a few western accents. The staff were very attentive to their customers despite the crowd. They would refill our water without us even asking! Then our food came, it was artfully presented. We were amazed on how it tastes as good as it looks! We ordered pork sinigang, but with a twist! It wasn’t a soup but it was a deconstructed pork sinigang with the right amount of sauce! We also ordered chicken skin and buffalo chicken with blue cheese dip. We love it! The dishes were meticulously made by their chef, giving us a five star experience with a reasonable price. We were so full and satisfied! We had our leftovers takeout and they gladly wrapped it up for us with a cute message on their paper bag. Regardless of what you wear or look they would insist on helping you out even if you can do it on your own. We wanted to wait for our grab in their alfresco after we finished our food and while fixing my stuff, one of the staff insisted to bring my drink for me outside. I would gladly come back with my family and other friends in Storya next time. Storya is an experience rather just a place to hangout, we love the fact that the crowd enjoyed their stay as...

Smoked Cream Laing pasta I did not like the taste. It's slimy and I cannot taste any tinapa and there is no smoky flavor of the tinapa. It's also spicy. I eat spicy food but in the menu it did not say that it was that spicy. I can only taste the laing but even the laing is not that good. For me this dish is not worth it. Portion is big but there is nothing special about it. I cannot taste the tinapa and no smoky flavor.

Bangus Ala Pobre I liked this dish. It's simple. The bangus is crispy. Vinegar dipping sauce is also good. It's sour and sweet. The ensalada is also refreshing. Portion is for sharing but I can finish it if I'm hungry. For price I think it's not worth it. Too expensive for a dish I can eat in any silog place.

Berry Lychee Lychee cucu The drinks are refreshing. But I recommend that you drink it as soon as it is served because the taste changed after a while.

Price is not worth it with the taste of the food that we ate. I was expecting that for that price point, the food would be really great.

On the other hand, service and ambience were great. They served us mini pandesal while we wait for our mains. They also kept on...

One thing I like about Storya Kitchen + Bar is that they have a spacious dining area where tables are spread and not close to each other. The next, of course, is the food. What I specifically enjoyed was their shrimp sinangag. It was not just fried rice but is something close to a shrimp paella. It was flavorful, savory, and it is a meal by itself. We also ordered the Ribs and Seafood Platter, Not Your Ordinary (NYO) Pan de Sal, NYO Lumpiang Shanghai, and they gave us complimentary bread. Storya Kitchen + Bar also has an al fresco dining area, and a hidden bar area which you can use as a private dining area in case you have an event. Their restrooms are clean and tidy. And you can also dine in with your pet dogs in this restaurant as they have a Furcup, a lickable treats for your furbabies. If ever you are in Quezon City, and are looking for a place to dine, I suggest you try Storya Kitchen + Bar at the 2nd Floor of Kalayaan Centerpointe Building along corner of Kalayaan and V. Luna Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
