Glory Hotel Cubao — Hotel in Quezon City

We had a very unfortunate experience with them. We booked our room 2 weeks earlier for a smooth trip with my friends. We reached out through their fb messenger and were referred to call their number for the reservation. We completed the confirmation through text messaging and we're assured that our reservation was confirmed and nothing else was needed but to present our IDs and pay upon check-in. We did not book online because we had some clarifications first (i.e. early check-in) before booking the reservation. We thought our phone conversations would suffice.

Fast forward to the day of our reservation, upon arriving at the hotel and checking in, we were told that they were fully booked and that our reservation cannot be found. It turns out that the person we talked to, 2 weeks earlier, forgot to book/endorse our reservation to their other staff. My friends travelled far from the province and this is what we got from them. They just referred us to their other hotel. Not even a service or discount was provided. It felt like we were left for dead. This happened around 3am. It was super hassle for us to find another hotel around that area that could accommodate 5 people, my friends came from a 12-hour trip and were all tired. The hotel they recommended could not accommodate us because we were a party of 5. It was super hassle. We thought we got a good deal for their family room but it was a horrible experience. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Plus points, however, to the lady at the reception because she was so calm. She couldn't do anything to help us but to refer us to that other hotel that turned out to be no...

Glory Hotel exceeded my expectations. For a very affordable price, their service and the hotel itself is highly commendable! Our 2-night stay was indeed a great experience! Thank you.

Staff are so polite, kind and gladly accomodate our requests - VERY fast. 🤗

Guarded for 24hrs so we felt very safe (I know coz my cousin and I are working at night so we have our food delivered through Grab. We went downstairs several times to get our delivery throughout our stay).

Wifi is fast. Though we didn't use their wifi for work, we only connected to their wifi when browsing our social media, other app, watch tv (youtube) and the connection didn't lag at all!

The hotel is well-maintained. Our room is cozy and fragrant when we get there. 🤗 I like the interior, not outdated. Beddings are soooooo comforting, very neat and tidy. Airconditioning and water pressure in the cr is great as well. Loved my hotshowers for 2 days! Hehe And indeed, a quiet place to stay - I think this part is what I love the most throughout our stay. I felt well-rested and was able to sleep really long because of these components. I cant believe we got all of these for a very affordable price!

I will definitely go back one of these days. Actually, I already recommended this hotel to my friends and officemates thru messenger bec of what we have experienced. 🙂

I arrived today early and less than t minutes after I set my bag down, the house cleaning staff and some guy on red shirt down hall were gossiping " the foreigner is here, the druga one " I have only seen 1 of them before and the other 2 never before. I have never done drugs or been around drugs with the employee who stayed that. He said loud enough to where 15 meters away I could hear with my back facing. So now I have uneasy feeling about my short stay here. Like I said I only know this place from prior bookings but on customer, hotel staff casualness. These strangers once again have slandered me in public based on what legality I have no idea. I have seen or felt this disgusted or in respect for the Philippines culture that I know experience on daily basis for 3+ years. More specifics the last r months.. all c4ated by uninvited disrespectfully citizens who never have known me through any kind of sociality, but feel and act as if we had known each other very long time. This is disturbing because they unlike me are forming a opinion based on a manufactured story and doing nothing but publicly slander and harasses verbally, ignorantly. At a place who welcomed my check in after I asked if it was ok. Any review or opinion I have ever given has only been about my actually experience nothing less...
