The Round Robin Cafe Cakes & Restaurant — Restaurant in Quezon City

Very disappointing experience today. We had a reservation for around 10 people to dine in for lunch at around 11:30 AM. We arrived on time, and we were the only customers at the restaurant when we got there.

However, after 1 hour, only 3 out of the 10 meals we ordered had arrived. More customers started occupying the restaurant, but even after 1 hour and 30 minutes, less than half of our orders had been served. To make matters worse, other tables who arrived much later than us were already being served more meals than we were.

Please ensure that customers who arrive first, especially those with reservations, are properly prioritized. It’s unacceptable that after waiting almost 1 hour and 30 minutes, only half of our meals had been served, while a table that arrived just 45 minutes ago was already eating complete meals.

Honestly, I don’t know if this is discrimination or simply a failure in your system. If your kitchen was really understaffed, you wouldn’t even be able to serve the newer tables, but they were getting food faster. We reserved early for my brother’s UP graduation celebration. We arrived at the restaurant on time, were the first to get there, and ordered first, yet our orders weren’t prioritized after several other customers came in. They're system does not work. They should organize more.

I really loved the ambiance and the food, but I wish the service would improve. They seemed understaffed; there were times when no servers were around for quite a while. I’m not sure if the owner values the place and the staff, but they should consider hiring more people and promoting the restaurant more.

The Round Robin Cafe is located in Maginhawa Street, Quezon City. They offer different coffee flavors, teas, and chocolate drinks. They also have a varied selection of cakes and desserts. Our group of six was able to easily find seats and a table. We got hot and cold mocha latte, chocolate chip drink, white chocolate drink and a mango cake. The price is a bit expensive but the taste of the drinks and cake were good. It is not very impressive or different though. The place was cozy and relaxing.
