Crabaholic Resto Maginhawa — Restaurant in Quezon City

Was not able to take more pictures because I was excited to eat. 😅

Decided to get the group bundle (good for 8-9) which has 2 mixed seafood bucket – contains crabs, shrimps, mussels, & corn, sisig(but it was not available so they changed it to liempo), sinigang – there's a choice if shrimp or pork and we chose pork, chicken wings, rice platters, and pitchers of iced tea. We also had additional orders of 1kg shrimp, 1kg crabs, and baked oysters.

The crabs... some are fresh, some are old. It's purely on luck which ones you'll get. Haha! The shrimp is okay, not too fresh, but it was okay. Still yummy. Sinigang is okay but it could be more sour. Chicken wings is okay. Liempo is sweet, it tasted like tocino. Baked oysters' toppings could be torched a bit more.

For the sauce, we liked the butter garlic more than their cajun sauce.

Place is spacious, staff are polite and they work fast.

This is the place to be for your bundle cravings!

Mostly their combo bundle is good for 2 to 3 people. But if you're someone who has a big appetite it's also something you can look forward to. The carbs are very fresh and delicious, but I wish they offered a crab fork or lobster pick to pull out those juicy claws or leg chunks.

Service is good , staff are very friendly and attentive.

They have enough chairs for everyone except if you have walking or wheelchair problems it's not for you sadly.

Parking can also be a bit of a problem, thou street parking along the vicinity is adviced.

There's only a couple customers so we didn't have to wait long for our order. We ordered Premium Seafood Boil with Alimasag. First, the crabs were served ice cold so we asked them to heat it up. When it came back, the crabs smell too fishy. After opening the crabs, the meat was mushy (mayabo), even the claws. This shows that the crabs they served us were not fresh and any time it will go bad. We could not eat the crabs at all. We paid our bill and told our server host our concern/complain and to make sure to tell management about how bad our food was. Our server host was accommodating and understood how disappointed we were. I will never come back to this...
