I've been wanting to dine at Vieux Chalet for the longest time, finally was able to go here for lunch today. It's location is quite hidden from the main road; you'll have to traverse the narrow part of Taktak road to get here. There is no dedicated parking space, so you'll have to park along the street. It's quite safe though. It has a homey feel, since it is originally a house made into a restaurant. The overlooking view of the city is seen by the window area. It's better to have a reservation in advance, specially if you'd like a table by the window. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They know their menu well & give good recommendations. They are also attentive & they don't dilly dally. Service is good. The food is superb & the servings are more than enough. We ordered a set meal for 1 (Meister: consists of soup or salad, steak, dessert, & coffee or tea) as well as a set meal for 2 (Mon Cherie: consists of soup or salad, sausage platter, 2 main dishes with chioces of fish & meat dishes to choose from, choice of 2 desserts, & coffee or tea). They also give complimentary toast with tomato & cheese dip. The quality & quantity of the food is worth it. Wait time is adequate. This is a good place to dine with loved ones, specially during special occasions. Will definitely dine here again to try the other items on the menu & to appreciate the overlooking view.

Had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for an early dinner today and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was homey and inviting. The service was exceptional - our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and made us feel right at home. He helped us navigate the menu and made excellent recommendations for wine pairings to complement our meal. Speaking of the meal, the set menu was outstanding. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We had Italian Pork Belly and Smoked Pampano for the main course, but we particularly enjoyed the Pampano (seafood dish) that was both light and flavorful. To top off the meal, we were treated to a fondue dessert that was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional and made for a truly memorable dining experience. If you're looking for a out of town restaurant that delivers on every front, this is definitely the place to go.r

What I loved about this restaurant is the good quality and presentation of the food and the warm disposition of the people working here. All food is homemade. The price is worth it. It's not difficult to find this place but it's situated on a steep slope so new drivers need to be more careful. On a clear day, there's a good view of the Manila skyline. Some reviews say the best view is during the sunset but I do not like driving at night and this place is not along the highway. I don't think there's enough streetlights. I sincerely appreciated the warm milk served with coffee. Little things matter. I didn't have to ask for this. It was readily given. Since my dad and I weren't hungry, we had our leftovers packed. It was neatly done in microwaveable containers without extra charge. Reservations need to be done via Instagram or Facebook and a Php 1,000 consumable deposit need to be made before visiting. I loved the experience. Thank you for the complimentary drinks and appetizer.

I must say there are better expensive restaurants than this. It’s quite expensive despite the fact that their ambiance is not the kind of fine dining feels and it is remote and no view to look at. Their drinks and desserts are to die for. Well, you paid too much for it hence, it should have that delicious taste. The restaurant has an old school vibe. The view isn’t that good --- I saw roof. The tables and chairs are not that comfortable either. You have to make a reservation. The food tastes good somehow but not the kind of cooking that you will surely love to come back or pay again. The servers are friendly and attentive. Visiting this place can be very challenging -- located uphill and roads are steep. Better to have a good 4x4 vehicle. If you will ride the tricycle, it’s a rough travel ahead. The road going down to the restaurant is slippery if it’s wet or rain. Two small toilets.

Nice ambient and superb service🤍 The place is located inner area of Taktak Road so having a car to drive here is a plus… The food serves with first class plating but price is reasonable! Although it is indoor, you can still feel the cozy and alfresco setting of the place as the restaurant atmosphere is very intimate - sunset is amazing (too mesmerised to take photo). For a big group and exclusive event, i think its best to do prior booking (dont worry they reply fast and very convenient) They gave best service and full attention to our 15pax reservation! Exclusive feel🤍 We ordered 2xSet Menu (for 5pax/set) so the soup and pasta comes in big serving for sharing… i think this a brilliant idea that i have not experience in other resto :) With our Total bill of P19k~, we have more than enough food for everyone (with take aways pa 😉)

If you're looking for a relaxing fine dining with your love ones, Vieux Chalet got it all covered for you. I had the perfect night ever than a princess could ever imagine, I can bet you that! A place reserved for me and my love one. Perfectly done, so kudos to the staff! The food preparation is superbly done and the taste is really mouthwatering. The ambiance would really make you feel really relaxed and special. Something that you'll cherish for years. And by the way, don't forget to check out their mini shop just in the corner. They've got this peppermint spray for your mask that's really refreshing...and gives you that perk as you inhale its scent. How I wish I've hoarded more of it. Hmmmm....which gives me more reason to go back 😉🤭😊. Again a big thanks to the you guys! Keep it up!
