Zark's Burger SM San Mateo — Restaurant in Rizal

The SM San Mateo branch is just plain terrible. The staff is plainly incompetent. My order took over 40 min to arrive and I had to remind them to get everything from plastic gloves to all of our drinks MULTIPLE times despite the EMPTY restaurant. When I complained for the lack of drinks it took an additional 15 minutes to prepare them. Mind you when we got our drinks we were done eating our food which was also of unacceptable quality. It was really dry and over cooked and lacked flavor. It really was an embarrassing burger. When we tried to get our bill it also took 10 minutes to arrive even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. I got fed up and paid directly at the cashier who clearly was not in the mood to work. No apologies for the delay and clearly was just lazy at work.

This was my first time eating at Zark’s and it doesn’t live up to the hype. It’s not worth the money. I’ve tasted many good burgers from many places and what I’ve ate doesn’t compare. It feels like McDonalds makes better burgers than the SM San Mateo branch. Maybe it’s better at other places but honestly I will not know because I will...

One of their crew was disrespectful. She suddenly and rudely asked us to transfer seat with no apparent reason. We stood up and I asked where then she pointed somewhere on the middle. I saw no available seat and was about to return to our table but she was already arranging our table. Then we saw the other costumers taking their food to our table. We were standing for a few minutes there in the middle while they're cleaning up the table we're about to transfer. She didn't bother to apologize or to explain for the sudden request, more on command pa nga ang ginawa niya eh. I didn't mind transfering seat by the way, I just hate the way she did.
