Today, Oct 20 i saw a christmas display with lights at their discount corner at half the price 750 from 1499. Told my 4 yr old daughter about it and she was very excited. Before checking out at the counter, thought of having it tested. My partner and i went to the testing area. Suprisingly the display lit and i was amazed. At half the prize. A sure good steal. However, the man who tested the christmas display immediately called a supervisor named john pangilinan. He is contesting that the item was working. John then brought the box somewhere and went back with another item which was defective. They said that someone might have switched the item.
Well its not my fault. I told them that i will buy the working item at 750 because thats whats inside the box with a tag of 750. They insisted that i must pay the 1499. I told them that as per dti whatever the price display, thats what the customer should pay. John said, then i may go ahead and file a complaint through DTI.
I asked for the manager. Maricar Singca approached and she insisted that i cannot get the working item for 750. That i can file a DTI complaint.
A very BAD experience for a consumer. Now, how can i explain to my 4 yr old daughter that i dont have the christmas display?

   Read morewhat happened to SNR?!?! i haven't been there for a year, and now i come back to this?!?!?! Bad customer service...When SNR opened in pampanga several years ago, they have some of the most helpful and courteous staff I've ever encountered. They're always, smiling and ready to help. But now, sadly, they won't even greet customers as they come in the store, no thank you as you leave, not even a smile. Cashiers are the worst. They scan your items and process the payment..and that's it. They don't even help you pack your groceries, nor give you options on how you'd want to carry your items back to your car. Don't get me wrong, the staff are not rude to customers, but they are also not accommodating. They're indifferent to their customers. I hope the management of SNR could send their employees to some customer care/service seminars to teach them the basics on dealing with customers. That is not too much to ask, considering the price we have to pay for the annual membership.
