Food: their food is absolutely delicious 10/10 i recommend. Their corn egg drop soup was served first and hot so it was nice. However, the cornstarch was not diluted really well as there were lumps in there. The noodles were flavorful. Salted Egg Shrimp was really good i thought i would be disappointed with this one because i thought they would use artificial salted egg but they use real ones although i would like the shrimp to be well done. Hakaws and dumplings cannot disappoint me so meaty. I didnt liked their stir fried beef strips because i didnt taste any beef in there it was pure breading. Unfortunately their chocolate xiao long bao was unavailable.
Service: fast service and waiting time for orders.
Ambiance: There's no in between when choosing a seat. Its either you'll sit inside where there are only 3 tables and most probably are already occupied, air-conditioned with loud music on the background, and people walking to use the toilet or you'll sit outside with noise of other customers and there is only one big fan. I hope they would improve their floor plan and...
Read moreMissed opportunity. The food was great but the service and ambiance as awful.
Good: one of the best beef noodle soups that I've tried in years. Meat was not lacking in quantity and was very tender.
Bad: Poor service. One of our orders was not available. Not our fault since they only informed us after we followed-up that the item was not served yet. And they did not want to refund it initially since it was a card transaction. The place seems to be understaffed overall.
Also bad: Ambiance was a bit too noisy/chaotic since it is the same dining area as Angel's pizza. The tables and benches were not as comfortable as similarity priced restaurants. Al fresco dining (which is all but the 4 tables inside the place) is not good for non-smoker/kids. There are people smoking outside including delivery riders. Smoking/Non-smoking segregation is not strictly enforced by management. There's also no high-chair...
Read moreThe place is quite small and it shares space with Angel’s lPizza, so at first I thought it would feel more like a casual fast-food spot. But when I looked at the menu, the prices weren’t cheap, so I wondered if the food would actually be good. Luckily, the kitchen looked fairly large, which made me think they could prepare proper dishes, so I went ahead and ordered.
The food itself wasn’t bad, but the portions were really small. For that price, I feel like I’d rather go to a proper Chinese restaurant where the atmosphere would also be nicer. If the prices were more affordable, I might stop by occasionally for a quick bite, but considering the portion sizes, taste, and overall vibe compared to the cost, I don’t see much...
