Title: This is the kind of restaurant I'm always looking for. They serve high-quality, unique food, which is why I'm giving them 5 stars. A hidden diamond!
The staff are very kind and smiling.
The waitress asked how the meal was, which is very important for getting feedback!
Fast service (restaurant was not full).
Big portions.
The presentation of the food was very good.
The price-quality ratio is good.
High-quality pepper, salt and tissues on the table — very necessary for a good restaurant!
Clean tables and elegant cutlery.
Two areas: open air and air-conditioned.
Nice ambience and upholstered chairs for comfortable seating.
There is a professional chef in the kitchen (see below).
+I had the 'Peruvian chicken', which reminded me of Turkish or Persian cuisine because of the yoghurt sauce, herbs and garlic. Anyway, it was delicious. The yellow curried rice was tasty and plentiful. The chicken was juicy and the portion size was good. With the sauce, it was a perfect, fresh, aromatic combination. I also liked the light spiciness. The vegetables were tasty and cooked al dente, so you get all the vitamins. The way the vegetables are cooked is a real testament to the chef's skill. Last but not least, the mini salad with mango and vegetables was so juicy and fruity that I had never eaten a vegetable salad like it before. Thank you for the experience.
I also had an iced latte — the coffee intensity was just right, not too bitter, and it was served in a big glass. The only thing that could be improved was the presentation. The taste was nice.
The Restobar is unobtrusive from the outside. I had walked past this restaurant maybe 50 times, but I found it on Google Maps.
No cakes available at this time
o I don't understand why this restaurant isn't full of guests. They serve high-class, tasty food that's different from what you usually find in restaurants, and they have a big wine portfolio too. I would absolutely recommend it.

To understand... Why do I give 5 stars so rarely? Out of over 370 reviews, I realised that there are no businesses that are 100% perfect. I rate businesses in relation to an area, such as a city and the surrounding area. Most businesses in an area sell similar products of different qualities, and I rate these products up to a maximum of 4 stars. Therefore, I decided to give 5 stars if a business in this region has a unique selling point. This could be a unique product, an awesome view, or cosy surroundings that set them apart from other businesses in the area. Even if their products are not perfect, I can still give a five-star rating if there is something spec...
Read moreVery disappointed considering it has such good reviews.
Nachos were okay but quite dry. The main problem was the fish and chips. The taste of the meal itself was okay but the portion size was tiny. (Please see photos compared to size of beer for reference).
When we asked if more was coming, the waitress said ‘yes more is coming’ so it’s clearly a problem they encounter a lot. When the next plate came the chips weren’t cooked completely so it was clearly a rush job and obviously not part of the original meal (shock). Wouldn’t have even been enough for a child’s portion!
We do appreciate they gave us another portion so we didn’t leave hungry and the staff were very nice. The manager did come and speak to us to understand the problem too.
Their excuse was that it would be too expensive to make it a bigger portion in the first place and that they would need to increase the price of the meal if the portion size was bigger - fair enough but at 380 it wasn’t a cheap meal to begin with compared to some competitors around. My advice would be to not advertise as ‘British style chip shop fish and chips’ if it can’t be delivered.
IN ADDITION, when the second plate of fish and chips arrived they told us we’d be charged extra for the further vinegar and curry sauce to go with it which we refused to pay and we got it...
Read moreOverall good. Puts lots of thoughts on the aesthetics. Relatively new to the Siquijor food scene. Nice touch on appetizer. AC room restaurant on a hot day. Food can be better.. but not bad, the tomato sauce could have stayed longer to the pot so it blends to the rest of the flavor and does not taste as a separate entity to the dish. Veggies are not overcooked which is already a good start. Quesadilla fillings are slighltly cut chunkier than usual so it jumps out of the wrap. Greatest advantage is the prime location. Might be back for a drink to test the bar outside. 🍸
*reply to the edited feedback. Not all customers has the luxury of time in this world to wait for another 25-30mins for another fried meal back job. I just deal with it, pay and move forward, and wish that things could be better next time, thats how businesses learn on constructive impressions for the better. People have meetings and appointments, if that could have been a 500g Argentenian steak that would be yes a different story and would def have a sweet talk to the kitchen. It's a learning experience and...
