We went to this place earlier to order ahead because we had about 10 people coming, and we wanted to make sure everything would be ready when they arrived. We told the waiter our plan and ordered a set meal, but she never mentioned how long it would take. No heads-up at all, which we thought was fine at the time because we figured they’d get things moving quickly. But then 30 minutes later, our family showed up, and still no food. We decided to wait a bit longer and even ordered another set meal and some extra dishes. We didn't realize we'd been waiting for about an hour and 30mins by then. Nobody came to tell us what was going on or how much longer it would be. It was so embarrassing to invite family out and have them wait that long. The whole reason we came early was to avoid this exact situation. It felt like the staff didn't care at all. If I hadn't gone to check, we would've just kept waiting indefinitely. When the food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. It definitely wasn’t worth waiting more than an hour and a half. We could have had a better meal somewhere else much quicker with a much better ambiance. The whole experience was such disappointment. They definitely need more people in the kitchen, and their customer service needs a lot of work. We won't be going back, and based on our experience, we wouldn't feel comfortable suggesting this place to anyone else.

Aaaaamazing little place we stumbled upon by accident, after a quick google to see that the prices were reasonable and dishes sounded good, we headed for a late dinner after a long day of travelling. Really cool beach shack vibe and laid back atmosphere with no wait time. Perfect for what we needed. With no expectations we were so happy with everything. We had chilled water brought over to our table as soon as we were seated with menus, fast service and didn't have to wait long for food. Ordered two banana shakes with no sugar and were super tasty and nicely presented. We chose one main each both with garlic rice - butter garlic prawns and honey garlic chicken, both were delicious and again, nicely presented on the plates. We were so hungry and enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take a photo of the food. The prawns were served in a really easy way, still presented in their full shell so looked great, but the chef had also sliced the backs so it was super easy to de-shell myself and mostly importantly - quick so I could enjoy them straight away with no fuss. Really loved this the most. Went back to the hotel full and satisfied as food was so fresh and not greasy in anyway.

we were here for the dinner. Orders strawberry shake, water, hamburger and a Filipino dish. Came after 40 minutes of shaking. the food after 1 hour and 25 minutes. There was no information that it would take longer, just ignored. I don't come here anymore, although the food was quite good, but not exceptionally good. Not recommended due to the long waiting time of 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Small place on the highway across the road from the entrance to Runik Beach and Club Resort, where we ate the night before, and only 300 meters from Coco Grove Beach Resort, where we were staying. Staff layed back, even understated, but friendly - just could be a bit more engaging. Drinks and food 100% lami/tasty/masarap - the chef is obviously so talented. Could have easily just driven by this place on the highway but a friend who is from the island recomended it and so glad she did. Easy access - park your bike right on the edge of the highway and walk steps into the restaurant. Such a nice find and highly recomend this place, even over Monkey Business, still eat/drink at Monkey Business (atmosphere and setting there is great) but the food at Tambayanan Cafe-FaD Barn was tops. We had Sweet and Sour Fish, Loaded Burger and Sizzling Bangus - every dish was so tasty and I also had a...
