Staff is welcoming and friendly, greeting you with a warm "Sawadeka" as soon as you enter.
First meal—got their Special Set 5 (Steamed jasmine rice paired with tender chicken breast with Asian style sauce, charcoal grilled squid and shrimp balls. Served with red chili, green onion, and ginger sauces.): The dish had a comforting tinola-like flavor.
French Fries: Served fresh and hot with a satisfying taste, though they did become a bit heavy after a while. I ended up taking them to go.
Spaghetti Corned Beef: Crispy and packed with flavor. Loved the subtle kick of spiciness.
Thai Es-Yenn (Classic iced coffee Thai style with condensed milk): The best I’ve had so far! I’m tempted to ask for the recipe so I can try recreating it at home. 😂
Special Set 6 (Phad Thai paired with Chicken Satay, served with Pomelo Salad): This definitely changed my view on Pad Thai. I didn’t expect it to be this good! It actually reminded me of Yellow Cab’s Charlie Chan but with a more defined flavor.
Chicken satay was juicy and flavorful! Wish they added one more stick, though. Haha. Salad was interesting… first time having pomelo in one. It was okay but not something I’d order again.
Serving size was just right for the price.
This spot could be perfect for remote workers, especially since the SM Free WiFi in this area is pretty reliable. Overall I enjoyed...
Read moreI was really hoping for this one here at South. Unfortunately, not for this one.
Food, yes, given this type of café, I'm hoping for the taste, not just the looks of it. That time we went and ate there, and all of our food was on the salty side. I don't know if our timing is good or bad, but it's salty.
Drinks, yeah, definitely satisfied. 4/5
Atmosphere, we thought it was good, but looking at the back seats, there are plenty of staff taking a break that occupies the tables, and some of them are eating there, getting a nap, or sleeping. Being this kind of resto cafe, I think it's inappropriate to do that.
Priceworth? Yeah, like in the Metro. Around 400–600 per head is acceptable.
Well, it's new here in the South, and we look forward to visiting again some other time. Perfect for get-togethers, family gatherings, and...
Read moreFirst time dining here Got curious of the Thai cuisines they offer Place is nice it was almost half full when we dined. Avocado salad is okey, cant appreciate the avocado in it, a little bit bitter tasting leaves. Complicated noodle caught my interest and its actually good but small serving despite cost. Weeping hunters is delicious! Basil pork rice is a bit salty but perfect with rice. Miso soup is nice addition. Padthai is just average but presented really well. Thai pop is good but small serving also. Tom yum super bowl is really good but am a bit surprised by inclusion of noodles. Bagoong rice is nice but super oily. Did pair well with tomyum soup. Server is really nice and polite. Thank you to eastwest for the 50% discount. Will dine again but only if @50% less kasi ang mahal....
