The first time I went to this place, me and my co-workers were really having a very bad day. We decided to go to Tagaytay to get some bulalo in our system. A friend suggested this place and it did not disappoint.
Pre-pandemic, you can dine-in inside where they showcase several arts as well as "pasalubongs". The place is cozy and is reminiscent of Spanish era houses. However, during the pandemic, people are seated outside in Kubos. This is a very nice way to still provide dine-in services and give the customers the Tagaytay fresh-air.
The food is very much the highlight of this place. Let me start with the bulalo. Their bulalo is very good and not overpriced. It's already salty enough (at least for me) but you can still opt to adjust it to your taste. They serve it on a clay pot (palayok) which adds to its appeal. They also serve several other dishes. However, another highlight of the place is their exotic foods.
Pre-pandemic, they have a menu of all their exotic foods such as tapang kambing, adobong pugo, etc. And these are almost always available. However, during the pandemic, these are not as showcased anymore. You have to ask the staff what exotic delicacy they have available.
Overall, this place is a really nice way to spend the day with friends and family in Tagaytay. It's not really within the Tagaytay proper so traffic is not that...

My family and I dined here last Sunday, June 15th, for Father’s Day, and we were extremely disappointed. We were overcharged by ₱1,889.25, as clearly shown in the photo attached. The total bill was incorrectly calculated, and unfortunately, we only realized the error once we got home.
This kind of mistake is deeply concerning—how many times has this happened to customers who don’t double-check their receipts? I reached out to their Facebook page immediately, and while they acknowledged the mistake and promised a refund, it’s now been over 24 hours and we still haven’t received our money back. All we’ve been told is that it’s still “pending approval.”
To make matters worse, the food quality has declined. The sizzling squid was bland, and the Bulalo—once our favorite dish here—tasted completely different. It used to have a rich, flavorful broth that made this place our go-to spot. Now, it just tastes like an ordinary version you’d get from a carinderia. I’m not sure if they changed their recipe or chef, but it’s definitely not the same.
We’ve had so many good memories here and have been loyal customers for years, but after this experience, I don’t think we’ll be...
Read moreWent there to try their silog meals. Got the hamsilog. The food you cannot rate it as outstanding compared to other restaurants but I have it a high rating because it was prepared well prepared. The egg was cooked just right. It came straight from the kitchen so it was hot. It came with unlimited coffee and soup. And it costs only 110 pesos. That's hard to beat. On top of that other silog eateries might just give you a small bowl of complimentary beef soup that usually accompanies silogs but this resto gave me a pot of hot bulalo soup. Nice. The atmosphere rated low because of the place. it was a bit old and the men's CR was not clean and the flush was not working. I did like that they used solid wood chairs and tables. This review is dated August 2025 and I included...
