Starbucks Reserve Hiraya is truly a destination outlet for those of us who are not blessed to reside in the Tagaytay area. We made sure to get here early near their opening time to avoid the crowd but even after year, 30 minutes past 7 in the morning we were welcomed with a sizable queue, proving that its not just a cafe but a tourist attraction as well. They really do know how to handle the huge crowd they attract. Queueing was very organized and rules have been set to make sure that crowds avoid overstaying. (Make sure to listen carefully to their instructions in validating your parking ticket if you bought a car with you). We can all be honest that we did not come here for the food (though the Hiraya Latte was one of my motives to go here only to be let down to know that its a seasonal drink and wad no longer available). The stunning view of Taal lake is what truly lures patrons and tourists alike and this picture-perfect view is thoughtfully framed by their reserve bar. I kid you not when I say that the view of Taal was like a super HD LED wall. It was like an ever changing realistic painting set as the bar's backdrop. Being the biggest Starbucks in the country (at least for now), the store has plenty of seats for you to enjoy their drinks and food while enjoying the spectacular view. Of course those seats are over at the bar and the two level deck with outdoor seating. The deck area does get plenty of sunlight even at 7 AM. Visiting the store during the hottest time of the year proved that the deck was much better enjoyed from late afternoon till night however rhey do offer the best views. Ordering was yet another efficient running system for this store give the huge crowd. I applaud the partner who took our order for 7. No misses and she got everything right despute the noise and manageable chaos at the counter. The store offers an exclusive menu consisting mainly of freshly-baked (on site) pastries. Dont be surprised if they tell you that they have bad data connection inside. Of you are paying using your digital wallet, the partners will let you use their wifi connection for your payment. We had a great time trying Starbucks Hiraya. The Stunning views paired with great drinks while enjpying the company of your friends was truly priceless. This store truly stands out from the rest in the country and is a real global destination store.

Love the very scenic framed view from the high ceiling & spacious interior to the descending al fresco set up on the hillside. We went here to have a good view of sunrise, BUT the store is implementing a STRICT 6am entry for vehicles. So we had to wait after arriving at 5:30 am. Unfortunately, we had to spend sunrise inside the car. By 6:10 a.m., there was a really long queue of cars because we still weren't allowed inside that morning of July 22, 2023. And when finally we got in, our car was 5th in line, to our surprise, there were already around a hundred people lined up at the store entrance stairs. Everyone wanted to be part of the few firsts who would post pics about the store since it just opened July 19, 2023. Once inside, there is still a long line before you could order. I wish they'd allow entry of people and vehicles as early as 5am. Or, why not open at 5 am when you know a lot wanted to do the same thing? I mean, have breakfast at SB and watch the sunrise while having coffee, pastries, or breakfast? Don't the owners want additional hours of profit and satisfied customers? I was at first worried that we won't find seats due to the crowd. BUT WAIT, the store thought of a brilliant strategy to make people stay only 2 hours after paying at the cashier. It's FREE parking for the 1st 2 hours, but an hour in excess is P300 parking fee! So we finally got to order at 7:30am and stayed til 9:30am, just enough time for coffee, pastries and photo opps! We were also able to secure couch for 5pax; one just needs to make sure that while someone is lined up and paying, the rest of your companions are actively looking for about to be vacated couches/chairs. The view is worth the hassle and wait! There's also a public CR at the parking entrance (for those who line up outside and couldn't wait any longer to get in - coz they won't let you in til it's your turn). I gave a solid 5 stars, too, because my friend left his sling bag and only realized it after we had lunch in another restaurant. When we came back at past 12pm, he was able to redeem it back as a guard found it in our couch and surrendered in their office. My friend told me there were also other items left by other customers so PLEASE take care of your belongings - basic! 😀 Have fun! Coz we did!

First time visiting and will probably not go back and just go to other branches of Starbucks or try more local cafes when I go to Tagaytay next time. I do understand the hype though, this branch really does have the best view of Taal. We arrived at exactly 6AM (opening time - on a Saturday), and the place is already getting packed with people literally running to get inside. Everybody was in a hurry to get in and take advantage of the fact that there is no line to order yet. I, on the other hand, went in and saved a table to get the best view instead. Outside seating was closed at the time because it started raining, which is good - means they prioritise safety! We also didn't spend much in line to order since there were only a few people in queue when we arrived. Coffee - So, so just like in any Starbucks Philippines stores I went to. Anyways, I think we have the worst coffee culture in SEA. Which is a shame because our neighbouring country really does their coffee well, especially their local ones. Tried bag of beans and it was also a let down, so will yet to find a really good cafe in Tagaytay 🤷♀️ Food - Well, we only tried their cakes and they are good. Something we're already familiar with. There are no special menu on food here so anything you can order here are also available on other branches. Oh, maybe that pan au chocolate and tarts are exclusive here? Not sure. Since it's Reserve, then the Reserve drink menu are available here. Pet policy - Sadly, no pets are allowed. Parking - Free for 2 hours and then Php300 will be charged when you go over. The cashier will also give you a parking ticket at the counter which you'll then present to the guard before leaving, so don't think you can cheat the system by not declaring you have a vehicle 🤣 Overall, I will say that aside from the good view, this branch doesn't offer anything different from other branches of Starbucks in Tagaytay. So I won't bother going back especially on different time of the day since when we left at 8 AM, the line already reach the queueing line outside and I don't think I'll have the energy to wait up to 40 mins just to order.

Starbucks Reserve™ Hiraya in Tagaytay City offers an exceptional coffee experience with its elevated architecture and breathtaking views. This flagship store sits on a ridge, providing panoramic vistas of Taal Lake and Volcano, making it a prime destination for both coffee lovers and nature enthusiasts. The architecture of the Starbucks Reserve Hiraya is both intricate and elegant, designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The store features spacious indoor areas with air conditioning, as well as an outdoor patio, allowing visitors to enjoy their coffee in comfort while taking in the stunning scenery. Inside, the store boasts a sophisticated and inviting ambiance, with carefully curated interiors that enhance the overall experience. The design elements are modern yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for relaxation or work. The store's layout ensures that every seat offers a great view of the picturesque landscape outside. The real highlight of the Starbucks Reserve Hiraya is the awe-inspiring view of Taal Lake and Volcano. Whether you're sitting inside or on the patio, the majestic scenery provides a serene backdrop that elevates the entire coffee-drinking experience. The service is top notch and professional. I feel the service level is a step above the rank and file Starbucks locations scattered in the Philippines. The one caveat is outside in the patio overlooking the panoramic view there is a distict stench of sewage that is pretty noticeable. I hope it was a anomaly for that day but even that could not spoil the amazing views this location provides.

Aug 2023: We went here on a Sunday. The place is jam packed. The guard wouldn't allow any cars inside the parking area because it's already full capacity. So, we decided to park at the established next to it which is Jaytee's Bulalo Restaurant. We just walked to Starbucks. The line was so long, it was moving in a very slow pace. We lined up for an hour. When we finally arrived inside, there's another long line to the cashier. And another waiting time for the drinks and pastries to be prepared and served. Btw, there is a time limit of 2 hours (from the time you order) to accommodate everyone. The view is breathtaking! You could see the Taal Volcano dead center from their balcony. It was truly amazing to see the totality of the volcano itself. We ordered the Blackpink Frapp which comes with its own reusable cup that costs P395 for the tall size. I don't really like the flavor combination of strawberry and chocolate, it tasted artificial. We also ordered the strawberry acai with lemonade and a hot caffe mocha which we both love! The pastries on the other hand was very disappointing esp the strawberry tart. It was too bland! No sugar added and the crust was very crumbly. The Pan Au Chocolat has pastry cream inside. Why??? It should be purely chocolate. And the price for each pastry is P295 each. It's not even worth it! We spent P1,600++ and ít didn't satisfy our sweet cravings. May 2024: We went to Tagaytay to eat Bulalo and decided to have coffee afterwards. There is a long queue outside even though it was past 8pm. Ordered Cafe Mocha and Signature Iced Chocolate.

Good place to visit for a cup of coffee and a quick bite since you will only be allowed to stay for 2 hours (time starts after u buy your drink). The 1-2hr waiting time in the entrance is something that could still be improved in the future but taking into consideration the amount of seats and the customers, this is actually justifiable. But if you’re a PWD, pregnant, or senior, you are allowed to skip the line but only to be accompanied by one person. A more frequent cleaning of the communal washroom is recommended especially with the number of customers who go in and out of the place. We ordered our usual which can be bought anywhere but i suggest you order any of the reserve exclusive coffee that they offer. Consider the weather if you want your drink hot, cold or frappe. The aesthetic of the place is extra ordinary and they were able to get a really nice spot and on top of that the design of the place really managed to show off the tall volcano. However, i’d recommend you to go here at daytime to fully appreciate the place since as shown on the photos, we were only able to see the skyline. The service is acceptable and there are plenty of smiles from the staff despite of the number of customers they serve daily. Overall you can visit this branch or eat in the restaurants in the area if you just want to to see the Taal but i recommend you to visit this Starbucks reserve branch if you have a lot of time to spare and you’re looking for a really nice coffee with a view and aesthetics.
