ZEN Rooms Mijo Hotel Tagaytay — Hotel in Tagaytay

Our last visit? I was very disappointed with our room.||||I'll tell you a little story of our journey here.||||My last 3 visit here was superb. It is not located along the road but I would say it has a great room then. In my first 2 visit, I was happy because though our room is not that big but we have a nice cabinet, nice comfort room and cozy bed and even a simple small veranda.||On our 3rd visit, they give us the attic room since that is only available room that time. I felt a little disappointed because I have this problem with my knees,but since we are so called loyal to this hotel, we still take it. Yes, the room is big for a couple. good for a family of 4 to 5.||||Recent Visit: ||||Here's the story, we are expecting to have a nice room coz we know this hotel as simple but they have a nice rooms for couple. I was a bit surprise when the staff take us to the right side , back area of the hotel. We found out that there are new rooms, I guess 3 or 4 new rooms. The area are not yet furnished, there is an open little door, I guess room for the employees to stay and located just beside the guest rooms. I don't feel comfortable with this kind of scene. The door of their new room open for us, my girlfriend hesitantly enter the room because it was so little that it seem like a super cheap hotel. I never expected this kind of room from MiJo. So I called the receptionist and request for a room transfer but they can not give us a new room since the rooms are all occupied. We want the side of the hotel where the rooms are "hotel rooms" not this "cheap motel rooms like". Since we are so tired to look for hotel and since this is just for an overnight stay, we sleep there with a heavy heart.||||We are so disappointed because we are not new in this hotel. We keep coming back here for a short stay and yet this is what we get. If they want to put up a new room, if not exceed to expectations of the guest at least level to other rooms. Guest need a place to relax and well accommodated but this new room is like a room for kids. The room is not very sound proof, we heard a girl cry from the inside of our room.||I don't know if that girl is a guest or employee of the hotel, she keep crying for hours outside talking with somebody on her phone. I know she speaks in a low voice but since the room is not sound proof, we can not relax. I don't want to go outside to interrupt the girl because she is so emotional. ||||The room is very small, you can't almost walk properly coz its crowded inside. The wall I think is not sound protected since we can hear talking from the outside.||||The Room is not worth the price.||Overall, the new room in this...

It was a last minute choice since me and my friend didn't planned our Tagaytay trip. I just told him that I want the cheapest but nice accommodation then he booked this hotel. Since it was my first time in Tagaytay, I really don't care if I stay in a cheap hotel because I'm after the adventure and the place (Tagaytay).||||The hotel is located not far from the main road. The hotel is not the usual hotel with pool, gym, bar or restaurant. It's actually a 3-story house with an attic. All staff are friendly and helpful esp. the room service boy and the housekeeping attendant. My only concern was the LED TV in our room. I would also suggest not to order food from the hotel (in room dinning) because it's too expensive for just ordinary meal. Better to explore the vicinity and try one of the restaurants there. Me and my cousins were a bit hesitant about this place, but we really need a place to stay for a few hours. ||The road towards this hotel was a bit sketchy which made us more uncomfortable. We got to the place and we were welcomed properly. We had to wait for the staff to complete the check out of the previous guests. It was a 30 minute waiting time but it was okay :) ||The room is comfy and okay and just right for a quick stay. It was more of an inn rather than a hotel.
