We had high hopes for this restaurant given the reviews we read on their Facebook page, so we decided to celebrate my sister’s birthday there.
A day before the celebration, I made a reservation. I was offered a private room given the size of our party, which I agreed to. I asked for a picture of the private room to see if it included a table setup but was told that it was only for catering services, which was fine, but I still wanted to see how the room looked. Unfortunately, they never responded, and little did I know this was just the beginning of an awful experience.
On the day of the event, we drove to the address listed on their Facebook page and ended up in an abandoned lot. Confused, I called their restaurant to ask for directions. The person I spoke to asked, "Sa luma po ba yan?". How were we supposed to know if we were at the old or new location as first-time customers? Apparently, the address on their Facebook page and Waze was for their old location. When I asked for the new location, the directions given were very vague: "Basta papunta lang po sa Tarlac Provincial Hospital, along the way lang po kami." No specific pin or landmark was provided. This was frustrating because we came from Manila which took us about 4 hours to drive and we had already driven around the area several times without finding the place.
When we finally arrived at the restaurant, the staff did not bother greeting us at the door. We had to ask where our assigned room was, and it was merely pointed out to us. My sister had to ask if someone could lead us because there were two rooms, and we didn't know which one was ours. Only then did someone accompany us. When we entered the room, the lights were off, and it was hot because the air conditioning was not turned on until we arrived. Though this was understandable as we were ten minutes early for our reservation.
What really infuriated me was how the staff treated us. We did not feel welcome at all, and this supposed happy celebration turned out to be a huge disappointment. The woman who took our orders, named Jazel Anne, kept on smirking while taking our order. The staff seemed annoyed with our requests, and when we asked for containers for takeout, the same woman who took our orders left them on the table without saying anything and walked out without offering any help. The whole time we were there, we felt like we were a nuisance.
Don’t get me wrong, the food was wonderful, but to be treated so poorly and frowned upon for the amount we paid, we could have chosen a better restaurant. We spent almost 11,000 pesos for this awful service. I do not recommend this place at all. There are other restaurants out there with the same offerings with...
Read moreJust had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Stella Restaurante here in Tarlac City, and I have to share! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed. The ambiance is fantastic, with a really elegant yet cozy feel thanks to those plush red chairs and beautiful windows, setting a sophisticated mood perfect for a nice meal out.
But let's talk about the food! Oh my goodness, the flavors transported me right back to Italy in 2009. Seriously, it reminded me so much of the authentic tastes I experienced there. We indulged in incredible pizzas with perfectly cooked crusts and generous, flavorful toppings.
The pastas were equally top-notch, from a creamy, rich pasta with delicious crispy calamari to a satisfying, meaty spaghetti. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!
Beyond the amazing food, the service was truly great. The staff were attentive, friendly, and really made the dining experience enjoyable. And for those driving, there's ample parking, which is always a huge plus! If you're in Tarlac and craving authentic Italian flavors with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service, Stella Restaurante is an absolute must-try. You won't be disappointed!

Read moreOrdered spaghetti with meat balls, pepperoni pizza, ribeye steak.
The place is small, but good enough. About 6 to 7 front restaurant service people. The menu consists of Italian and Filipino food. After sitting down, they will give you some service bread and red sauc. Bread seems to be sour dough and pretty good. Probably made in house, but not sure as you don't smell much of dough yeast. The spaghetti and sauce was pretty tasty, but a bit thick. The linguini paste done perfectly and the quantity is good for the price as well. Ribeye ordered by my spouse tasted good as well. Tender enough, but the gravy a bit salty. Should provide some other sauce such as A-1 as well. Pizza was good except for the cheese. Seems to be easy melt cheese which made it taste like local delicious pizza chain in most towns. The crust is pretty darn good, just the cheese is what threw it off. Ambience is good with nice soft background music. Most restaurants I go to is a single visit, but this will be my I shall return restaurant. This is a nice medium high end style food with very low and reasonable price. Good service too except they inadvertently gave me a shrimp dish vs my spaghetti with meatballs. I got the meal I ordered within a...
