Chiaro's Restaurant — Restaurant in Trece Martires

I don't recommend this place for gatherings. We had such a terrible experience with the staff and owner from wrong pricing to going back and forth with what is included in the packages. They fail miserably in customer service. The time when our event guests are all running late because of the traffic, instead of offering sympathy and kind words due to the program being delay and we are all visibly worried and frustrated, they rudely reminded us that the place will close at 10pm. After calling them out for their inappropriate behavior they told us there is in fact additional fee for extending. Fortunately, we finished just in time. We also rented the entire place but low and behold they remove some chairs, and we scramble to make sure all our guest has something to sit on with little help from them of course. Let me add that they purposely hide the fact that their sound system is not working (which is part of the package), thank god I called the day before the event to make sure everything is doing great and to my surprise the promise sound system is not working, so meaning we will end up not having any sound system if I hadn't call. It is such a shame because the place is beautiful, maybe they would like to have a clear pricing details (written, not verbal) to avoid any hassle and train their staff...

Nice place to look at but the food is not so good. We ordered pesto pasta which was cold and pasty. The chicken was very bad. The salad we ordered was good. The chicken sandwich was on a very greasy bun. Reasonable...
