Hap Chan Robinsons Tuguegarao — Restaurant in Tuguegarao

We've eaten here plenty of times with good service, but I had to write a review just now because I dined here today by the side wall attached to the fire stairs, and saw a small cockroach on the wall going to the stacked chairs!

Reminds me of the numerous cockroaches I saw on the wall inside Bo's Chow's cashier area in SM City foodcourt.

Surely that's a health hazard. I didn't tell anyone though because the roach ran so quickly and there were other diners there.. Nakakahiya and I had no proof. If management sees this I hope they take action. There are no other restaurants immediately adjacent to Hap Chan and the other shop next to it is a shoe store, so it could only have come from their own kitchen. And for the roach to reach near the front windows? How many could there have been..

Not sure I'll return after today's incident, even though the food today and all the other previous times...

I experienced discrimination due to the ignorance of untrained staff handling PWD IDs. One staff member wrongly accused me of having a fake PWD ID and even placed a sign next to my chair that read "No to fake PWD ID," publicly shaming me. To prove my ID was genuine, I accessed the official DOH website and showed them my valid credentials. Despite clearly proving its authenticity, no one offered an apology or corrected their mistake. We had an excellent dining experience at Hap Chan in Robinsons Mall, Tuguegarao City. We ordered the Family Combo good for 10, and it was absolutely worth it! The set had everything — flavorful seafood vegetable rice, delicious seafood soup, perfectly roasted chicken, and more. Each dish was well-prepared, beautifully presented, and very satisfying.
