Jimmy's Satti Haus

We went here since it was recommended by several people that we should try eating satti when we are in Zamboanga. There are several satti houses so we went to the oldest one which is Jimmy’s Satti House. We really didn’t know what to order so we asked. We only wanted to try the satti but we ended up paying for more that what we wanted. Instead of 2 meals, we were charged 4 meals. Double than what we wanted. The lady we asked assumed that we want rice with the viand we want to try rather than just adding the viand as additional order. Though we never said we wanted rice with all the viands. I am not really sure how and why she assumed that but we paid the total amount. Other than that, the experience was a first for us. It is not as spicy as I thought it would be which is good. I’m not very fond of the rice though as it was dry so it really needs the sauce. The beef skewers is super small so we ordered chicken skewers. The marinade tastes much like chicken barbecue. The only drink available here is soda and service water. Cash is the only mode of payment which you settle at the end of your meal in a counter near the entrance. There is no parking available but you can risk it in front of the street. We only walked here from our hotel (Ever O Hotel). It took us about 10 minutes to walk going here. We paid P312 for four meals and drinks.
