Mon's Grill Pagadian San Francisco District — Restaurant in Zamboanga del Sur

before leaving Pagadian, my partner and I decided to have breakfast at Mon’s Grill and here’s our honest take. the place is neat, clean, cozy, and well-maintained. We arrived quite early, and some of the staff were still cleaning, but they still accommodated us kindly.

we ordered their chicken pecho, chicken wings, chicken fingers, and spaghetti.

their spaghetti stood out the most! It had a sweet and beefy taste, and they made sure it wasn’t lacking in sauce. every strand of pasta was generously coated. I really loved it! but the chicken pecho was a letdown. the chicken not only looked dry, but also tasted dry. also, the menu said pecho, but what I got looked like just half of a chicken breast, possibly sliced to appear bigger. traditionally, pecho includes the breast with a wing, so it felt a bit misleading. Just a suggestion, it might be better to label it more clearly on the menu. the chicken fingers are also dry. the fries that came with it weren’t seasoned well and tasted bland. the chicken wings were great though! flavorful, savory, and well-seasoned. they would’ve paired even better with well-seasoned fries.

overall it was a nice place to dine with a cozy ambiance and some hits on the menu (especially the spaghetti and wings). with a few tweaks on labeling and food seasoning, it could be even better. would still recommend for a chill dine in stop...

They used to have the best halo-halo in town — not until today; they've reduced the cream & fruits. Their egg & ham burger was the most awful I've had. The bun smelled weirdly sour, dry as drought, and had bigger holes than a dishwashing sponge. I also wasn't expecting the fillings to be this ordinary, it also seemed as if it was just re-heated. The burger wasn't tasty at all. This was brought up to them and they had alibis. Neither did they change the items nor offered a refund. Even the burgers on carts would taste better...

Surely the best halo-halo in town. 👌👌👌 Being able to put up a branch at the heart of the city is the best marketing and business decision to take if you're product is a hit. People could easily come, go and enjoy their halo-halo in a hearbeat. With the consistency of their recipe and fast order turn around, the store is currently the go-to when craving a halo-halo. Just a fair warning: the store has limited seats, so during busy hours, they are full with customers. My take: extend/improve the store to cater more dining in...
