Restauracja Classic — Restaurant in Gdansk

Yet one more place I have walked past plenty of times thinking, "I must go in some day!", and today was that day.

I hesitated before after reading mixed reviews. But this place has been here for many years, so it must be worth checking out, I thought.

So, I had the JD Burger and a couple of beers. Everything came pretty quickly for me, though the pace wasn't full. I think, like every place, it certainly could be crowded, in summer maybe, and then you may well be waiting. But I didn't wait for long.

Now to the food. So, I've had quite a few burger meals in other places, and I'd say the one I had here was good, but not the best burger I've ever had in Gdańsk, and I could name a couple of others where it was better. I'm not saying it was a bad burger - it definitely WAS good! But I finished it disappointingly quickly. The side order of chips also went fast.

Many reviewers mention the price, and I suppose it is a little on the high side. But not ridiculously high.

Was it good? Yes. Would I go again? I don't think I would, no. As I said, there are better burger places around. And with such a wide variety of eating places in Gdańsk, you have...

Worst american / Mexican restaurant i ever have tried. Drumsticks served with raw carrots . Horrible spice used. Probably some mix of vinegar and tabasco. Not very nice. Tortillas so thick that it was hard to fold them. Little meat but a lot of onion .. All in some strange mix of spices. Tiger shrimps in some very "interesting" mixture with a huge amount of olives ... And they forgot my side dish.. So thank you for paying a lot of money for my worst meal so far this year.
