We had our wedding here, and we could not have asked for a better place to have it!
The communication the whole way through, was absolutely brilliant. Every small question we had, was answered quickly.
We also were able to use the venue to practice our first dance, during the week of the wedding - and we were able to meet with our DJ on location too.
During the actual wedding day, all the staff were absolutely fantastic! We’d like to say a special thank you to Kasia, who checked in on us the whole time and made sure it was the best day/night that we could have wished for!
When we collected the left over food, and decorations, Kasia was again there to help us - and she offered us all coffees (we may have been slightly hungover!)
The food itself was out of this world, all of our guests loved it (we had guests from the UK and Germany). The restaurant packed it for us to take home the next day, and it was all sealed in packaging, meaning it was easy to transport and keep in the fridge too.
Additionally, we requested that the food be gluten free/the bread be sourced from a local gluten free bakery - and it was not a problem at all! Thank you
We’d definitely recommend this as a venue for a wedding (we had 65 guests) - and we’d recommend it as a restaurant also.
Everything was amazing - thank...
Read moreWe have been eating here since it opened when on holiday 2/3 times a year never any reason for adverse criticism. Always excellent service and good food. Today it was different I had my usual pork chop, it was very good, unfortunately my wife's wasn't. She ordered asparagus soup with what she thought was bread. The bread was around 1 mm thick with a little friendly discussion 4/6 slices of a " french stick" was offered the waitress explaining to my wife that she should have asked for " classic"the bread. What load of twaddle, language was not able problem, my wife being Polish. To compound it all the service was slow. The serving staff were running around like "blue axxxd flies".This usually indicate staff shortage. At least this year no beggar children...
Read moreI have been to this place on a number of occasions. I don't live in Gdańsk/Sopot but whenever I was there I always felt tempted to return to this restaurant and this has feeling accompanied me for the last few years I have been returning to Nad Potokiem. Not any more though. The place has become ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food they offer. The service is still good, but it seems like the owners want to compensate for the pandemic months. The portions are very small and the ingredients are not of the best quality. Try harder guys and think of the longer term customer satisfaction, not a quick buck. This will not work. I will not return that...
