Papillon — Restaurant in gmina Międzyzdroje

We came to this restaurant solely because of its high rating here, and honestly, I have no idea what justifies it. Maybe if you speak Polish you might get better service, but in a tourist destination, I find it unacceptable that someone working in a restaurant doesn’t speak English.

The waitress provided no real service apart from bringing the food – she couldn’t recommend anything or explain the menu. The food itself was okay, although the schnitzel could have used a bit of oil drained from it – but fine, we ate it.

What shocked me the most, especially considering the restaurant’s high rating, was the state of the restroom. It wasn’t just untidy – it was downright dirty and splashed (if you know what I mean), and we were there around 1 PM.

No nie mogę dać 5* choć doceniam o wystrój i świetną i sympatyczną obsługę. Uważam ze w kwestii jedzenia (Dania wege) jest jeszcze miejsce na poprawę. Świetnie ze są świeże soki i koktajle warzywno-owocowe. Natomiast parę uwag co do dań: gnocchi z kurkami i falafel na sałacie. Po pierwsze owoce dodane do gnocchi były zupełnie niepotrzebne, tym bardziej ze nie bylo ich w składnikach w opisie potrawy. Owoce trawią się bardzo szybko i w zasadzie powinno się je jeść przed posiłkiem albo ze 3 h po. Pomieszane z tym co trawi się dłużej fermentują, mogą powodować gazy i inne dolegliwości żołądkowe. Drugie zastrzeżenie to nazywanie falafelem kotleta który w składzie miał na pewno ryż i jakieś inne składniki (może jajko?), a powinien być z ciecierzycy z przyprawami. Polecam państwu przepis na „falafel idealny” ze strony jadlonomia.pl. Wreszcie last but not least - lodowa sałata - w obu daniach w ogromnej ilości ale ta ilość nie przekłada się na jakość. Sałata lodowa to sałata najniższej jakości o marnych składnikach odżywczych. Ukochana przez gastronomię chyba dlatego ze można ją tygodniami przechowywać w lodowce w przeciwieństwie do innych bardziej smacznych i delikatniejszych sałat (masłowa, karbowana, dębowa, endywia albo rukola czy roszponka). Der Service ist wirklich gut sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Vom Essen waren wir leider enttäuscht. Den Bewertungen nach, haben wir uns einiges erhofft (und wir waren im Ort in vielen sehr guten Restaurants). Die Speisen sind sehr schön angerichtet, es gibt auch einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche, der wirklich gut war und auch immer eine sehr nette Geste. Getränke kamen schnell leider war das Bier warm, was wohl geschuldet war, dass das Glas kurz vorher heiß gespült wurde. Ok Das Zweite war dann kühl. Das Essen kam enorm schnell (15 min nach Bestellung) ist nett gemeint, wenn ich in einem Imbiss bin aber für mein Eindruck war es viel zu schnell man hat den Eindruck, nach schnellem abfertigen. Vom Essen selbst waren wir dann auch nicht begeistert. Ich habe erst das falsche bekommen, das kann passieren, es war jha auch voll. Habe anstandslos Dann auch mein richtiges Essen bekommen aber es hat mich nicht umgehauen. (pasta mit Pfifferlingen und Hähnchen) es war recht lasch. Schnitzel war ok aber jetzt auch nicht, das man in Begeisterung verfällt. Der Lachs am Nachbartisch kam sehr offensichtlich auch nicht gut an. Schade. Vielleicht sollte man mehr an Qualität anstatt...
