A Culinary Delight with Exceptional Service at Restaurant Patio
Our recent dining experience at Restaurant Patio in Katowice was an absolute delight, surpassing all our expectations. The staff, comprised of exceptionally friendly waiters and waitresses, attended to us with the utmost care. They went out of their way to fulfill every request, even those not listed on the menu.
The ambiance in the establishment was pleasant and inviting from start to finish, enhancing our overall experience. When it came to the cuisine, every dish was a hit. The flavors were expertly balanced, and the portions were surprisingly generous, leaving us impressed with both the quality and quantity.
We wholeheartedly recommend Restaurant Patio to anyone seeking a top-notch culinary experience in Katowice. However, we advise booking a table in advance, as this gem is justifiably in high demand.
All things considered, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Patio and eagerly anticipate our next opportunity to dine there. It's an absolute must for gourmets and anyone who appreciates good food in a...
Read moreAVOID. Dear Patio, It is not 1984 anymore! Shoddy service, slow, uninterested, a patronising waitress, quite rude really. Food bland, tasteless. Hot chocolate starchy with hardly any chocolate in it, again tasteless, cheap. Looooong wait for food. Pierogi (dumplings) arrived 45 mins late and were seriously overcooked. Barszcz (beetroot soup) had an unattractive layer of oily substance floating over it. Salads did not arrive at all, when prompted brought over with no apology. Herring oily, salty, no discernible taste at all, with onion tasting like nothing really too. Nasty. Side dish of red cabbage, very bland. Vegetarians not well catered for. Waitress answered with a short, almost contemptuous 'with meat' when asked about any of the dishes' suitability for vegetarians. Did not offer an alternative. Not a good example of Polish cuisine or hospitality. AVOID. Visited Sunday 26/11/17 and on a weekday previously (service was better/faster on a weekday). One positive: the food...
Read moreI've been here a few times with collegues. It's pretty much the standard restaurant for the expats working with my current client's company. The food is always good and generally the atmosphere is nice. The menu covers Polish fare with international accents. The price is stiff compared to other places, but that's not a problem for the generally well heeled clientele (on a company expense account) patronizing the Patio. Last time I visited was a bit an off episode, because the whole place was reserved for a giant group. So only a couple of teeny out of the way tables available (suck in the gut and ease into a chair). We had grilled salmon and steak, both of which were freshly made and tasty. Along with a Tyskie it went down fine and we came away satisfied at 85 zl ex tip. I can recommend it for company dinners and eating out with business associates. For after dinner drinks, try the City Pub around the corner, or the smokey White Monkey for more basic enjoyment of...
