This bistro is one of Krakows hidden gems and best kept secrets. Don't let the mid to small size fool you; this kitchen pumps out big flavor and quality dishes! You may have to hop on a bus from the city center to dine here but the trip is well worth it. We stopped at this little restaurant after a 65 km bike ride on our way back home. The first impression was great, despite being centrally located, the peaceful garden made it feel like we were far from the city.

We ordered the fish soup, mussels, and ribs. The fish soup and mussels were both well-prepared and tasty.

That said, I would suggest the restaurant reconsider the sauce used on the ribs. It was overpowering so much so that it masked the flavor of the meat, making it hard to tell whether they were genuinely barbecued or not. A much larger portion of coleslaw or some lighter, balancing sauces could only help. Did not really like it!

I visited this quaint bistro several times on my vacation. The simple, natural decor gives this bistro a relaxed atmosphere. It's great for families with the small play area for little ones; also romanitc alcoves for lovers. They boast a complete menu with appitizers, salads/soups, entrées, and deserts along with both alcoholic and non alcoholic options. There is an ENGLISH menu option, and most servers speak english. I found the soups amazing, well made fresh, and tasty. The beef cheek meal was delicious, piping hot. A very substantial serving size!
