Blue Swan bed & more - pokoje gościnne — Hotel in Krakow

We were a bit confused since Blue swan hostel shares the entrance and reception with the 5-star Niebieski Hotel but it has a separate small stairway and no elevator. We booked a double room with an additional sofa that looked spacious online (see my screenshot), but in reality the room was totally different. It is smaller, with old (though clean) interior, a small shower cabin, and thin walls-we heard everything from next room even someone using a hairdryer at 7:30 am. The bed was narrow (about 140 cm) for two adults, but we had a small balcony with a nice view of the Vistula river. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Our booking mentioned a fitness room, but it’s only for 5-star Niebieskie Art and Spa hotel guests - though we were allowed to see it, it was very small. Location is okay, you can go for a 15 min walk and you are already in the city center, with views to Wisła and Wawel Castle on the way. Definitely, the breakfast was the best from the stay in my opinion: huge variety of food and drinks, also healthy non processed things, so, it was perfect. Related to the rooms, I had bigger expectations. Room was kinda small, the cover of the bed was a bit broken in some sides... I don't know, when you see the hotel itself, you think is a great modern style hotel, but then the rooms...

It’s an unusual set up - two hotels using the same reception. The location is good, quiet facing the river - we had a lovely view from our room - yet there is a tram terminus outside with numbers 1 and 2 providing very frequent service into the city centre.
