Mr' Jerry Restauracja & Steak House — Restaurant in Nowy Sącz

this is a really nice restaurant in my opinion, one of the better ones in Nowy Sącz. It offers a wide range of good quality and fairly priced dishes, from burgers, steaks, and pizza. The overall interior of the restaurant is very calm and inviting, with nice lighting and many seats/booths to choose from. For my meal, I chose the pulled pork burger, which was very enjoyable, although the shape of it made it slightly hard to hold, and only having 4 onion rings on the side was slightly underwhelming despite them also being very nice. My partner ordered a fillet plate, which came served on a hot plate with various garnishes and fries on the side, which made for a unique and interesting meal, given that you could essentially cook your meat to your liking by yourself. The drinks were also slightly underwhelming for their prices, although they were also quite well prepared. We decided to go back after a bad experience (more on that below). Ordered the NY strip (aged for 40 days) medium-rare and the Beef Tenderloin salad. The steak came overcooked and dry. The waiter graciously agreed to replace the steak and the results of the redo were better, but the meat was tough. The salad was good - the tenderloin was soft and well seasoned but overcooked.

On our previous visit everything we got was way below expectations - this used to be a great place. The full rack of pork ribs we got was dry with all the fat rendered out and caked on bbq sauce - definitely frozen and reheated. The goat cheese salad was unbearably sweet, drenched in dressing with scattered tiny pieces of goat cheese. The winter tea was syrupy sweet - we ended up getting an extra glass of hot water...

The best thing I had was the lemonade. It was amazing. My steak was incorrectly cooked. I ordered medium, and received a very rare steak. The waitress immediately took it back, and apologized. I was brought a new steak. It was only okay, it had no flavor. Do you not season your steaks at all? Some pepper, garlic salt, anything? You are known for your steaks I was surprised to get an undercooked and boring steak! I may be spoiled because I have had some amazing steaks dinners. Also, the spinach and the Mac n Cheese both lacked flavor. I did enjoy the potatoes (garlic and butter). Service was great. Overall, I wouldn't come here for a steak again. Lemonade absolutely, but...
