A semi beachfront restaurant in Sopot that offers a delightful dining experience with its focus on fresh seafood and traditional Polish cuisine. Located at al. Wojska Polskiego 26, it provides guests with stunning views of the Baltic Sea from the upper floor, enhancing the overall ambiance.

The menu (Polish only) features a variety of dishes, including the renowned salmon potato soup (kartoflanka z łososiem), flounder, zander, and cod. Guests have praised the freshness of the fish and the quality of the meals. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options and a selection of desserts, such as goat cheese cheesecake and white chocolate cream.

The interior is decorated in a nautical style, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff is known for being friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. There is even a children’s play area available for the little ones.

While the restaurant has received positive reviews, some guests have noted that prices can be on the higher side, and during peak hours, service might be slower due to the restaurant’s popularity. The staff also doesn’t speak much English so be prepared to make use of translation tools if you need something more specific besides a menu item you can point at, or the check.

Overall, Tawerna Rybaki is a great choice for those looking to enjoy fresh seafood in a beautiful seaside setting. It’s advisable to make a reservation, especially during the summer months, to secure a table...

Chciałabym opisać sytuację, która spotkała mnie i moją przyjaciółkę tydzień temu 23.03 u was w tawernie. Jakaś kpina i absurd...

8th of march , we have visited this awful place , We were sat up 1st floor, our waitress was a lady , we ordered 4 seafood (not fish soup! in menu written fish and seafood) soup, one big sparkling water , one big still water , one cola , two glasses of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc, 3 times halibut , 1 grilled octopus , And what we have got : Water after 15 minutes as she explained “we don’t have glasses”, soup with only 3 small pierces of fish , as we asked about , “where are other ingredients“ , she answered :“ they are micro ! , ” and soup was full of fat not to eat and we didn’t eat , cola was not served after 35 minutes, the waitress “lady” was very very nice ???? , white wine was coming warm , not to drink and 100 percent not Sauvignon blanc.... as we asked how long we have still to wait for our main course , she was loud and told “we are full and you have to wait”, but we were not informed about long waiting as we entered , so nearly after 1 hour we left this “place” paying and we do not know for what we paid !!.. great service , great quality .. but as long as there are tourists, they for sure do...

This place isn't worth it. Prices are expensive for a passable quality. They are not transparent with the pricing. They added to the bill some Apple juice for 12 zl because the long Island ice tea they first served was too sour. Of course they didn't tell us before. A 35 zl cocktail that's not well done the first time should be redone and not diluted with apple juice. Desapointed. Edit 1 : I will add the bill to not allow you to call your customers liars. It's shows you charged apple juice. Be humble and accept your mistakes. Edit 2 : You changed your response after the bill shows you lied. We didn't have any juice on the side. Don't lie again. You used it to mixed the first drink and charged it. Terrible to keep lying for no reason. You are just dishonest.

The service is so friendly and feel soooo... welcome once entering the restaurant. For seafood, especially fish dishes, you can always come here and enjoy them. It isn't a good choice for vegetarian's warm dishes but they can make a good salad and that filled me up. Ingredients are fresh good potions, most importantly you don't go hungry after leaving the place. The winter tea is so far the best from many places I had in Poland. The taste of spices, with orange and lemon branded so well with the tea. Love it 💖👍 I think the location is also quite good, next to the beach and close to the centre. If we would visit the region again, we definitely will come back.
