DeVibez Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Szczecin

Nothing special at this price range. The service was friendly, but that's kind of basic. It took about 40min to get our order , and we ordered british breakfast which shouldn't take that long. It wasn't super busy, either.

The lemonade cup wasn't really clean, there was brown film on the inside, looked like it wasn't washed carefully enough. It came off when rubbed with a straw releasing bits into the drink. It was difficult to capture but you can see it the brown parts on the video.

The british breakfast was served on an unusually deep plate, beans were poured on the bottom so eggs and bacon and sausages were soaking in beans. No mushrooms nor grilled tomatoes, but they weren't listen in the menu so that's fine (although they call it a rich Englishman, while it's a bit poorer of a version). Portion wasn't too hearty. There were some burned leftovers on the sausages that weren't part of the sausages. Served with 3 slices of wholegrain baguette. No-one ever asked if everything is fine with the order for us to let them know things aren't perfect. At almost 60pln per head for breakfast, I'd expect either better quality or a bigger portion.

Looking at the other ratings we probably got unlucky or took the wrong position from the menu. Will likely give it another try one day hopefully they do better.

Edit: Will not go there again, seeing the owners laugh at the provided feedback rather than take it seriously tells me this is not a place where clients are respected and where feedback is appreciated. This is not the attitude I'm expecting at a restaurant. I've changed the rating down to reflect now also the owner's response. Overall It was 2.5/5 experience for me. If you fancy a British breakfast I recommend Kisiel restaurant. They are just a bit more expensive but you'll either get everything as it should be or respectful response for...

I was in need of a decent coffee fix and decided to look for at least a four star cafe. Lo and behold, having completed my google search of the local area. I found a wonderful restaurant called Devibez Cafe in Szczecin.

A lovely place, full with warm colours made this place very homely on entry. The host was very cheerful and happy to serve us with a ready made cheerful smile.

Leaning on the host experience was definitely the right choice as she assisted us with my lunch selection of chicken burger with home made Polish salad and ice coffee. Yummy, yum yum! I look forward to going back there on my return visit. Class...

To co spotkało mnie w tym lokalu, to dramatyczna obsługa. Ktoś , kto jest kelnerem/ kelnerką powinien znać się choć trochę na umiejętności rozmowy z klientem. Zacznijmy od tego, że w lokalu było max 6 stolików i 4 panie obsługujące. Zamówiliśmy śniadanie o 10:50. Nikt nie poinformował nas, że czas oczekiwania to ponad 40min( to trochę słabo, pomijając fakt niepoinformowania, jak na śniadanie). Po 30 minutach pojawiła się ,pierwszy raz od pobrania zamówienia, owa kelnerka, przechodząc z brudnymi naczyniami. Zapytałem więc grzecznie, czy nasze śniadanie zaraz wyjdzie, bo czekamy już długo. W odpowiedzi usłyszałem, że " dziewczyny już nakładają". Minęło kolejnych 10 minut...znów przechodziła ta sama kelnerka. W jej głowie nawet nie pojawił się cień pomysłu na poinformowanie nas, co się dzieje z naszym jedzeniem, tym bardziej że ją o to pytaliśmy. Poprosilem ja więc do siebie i wyjaśniłem, że obsługa jest przynajmniej niezadowalająca, że powinna nas informować, jeśli coś się przedłuża. W odpowiedzi nie padło nawet jedno słowo "przepraszam"... Padło za to powtarzane kilkukrotnie "no...no...no" , po zwróceniu uwagi, że tak się nie odzywa do klienta, kelnerka była obruszona i zdziwiona. Dostaliśmy serie argumentów, że to jedzenie 10 minut wcześniej nie było jednak dla nas( o czym nas nawet nie raczyła poinformować) i że przecież "wszyscy czekają". 40 minut na śniadanie w prawie pustym lokalu. Jestem człowiekiem, który zawsze docenia obsługę, tipuje i sam pracuje w gastro. Ta Pani ze swoim stylem i odpowiedziami powinna pracować w markecie, i tak jej też powiedziałem. Na pewno nie wrócimy! Nie przy tej obsłudze ( kelnerka brunetka) P.S. W każdej innej knajpie śniadaniowej obsługa na wejściu informuje, jeśli czas oczekiwania jest dłuższy. Dlaczego? Bo to jest śniadanie a nie obiad z 3 dań. To się nazywa...
