ARTBISTRO STALOWA 52 — Restaurant in Warsaw

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this spot for anyone for whom a visit to a restaurant is not just about food but it is more about the entire experience including time well spent. Although the meals were really good, the rest was rather appalling. First, we couldn't get any seat even though there were tables available. All that had to be done was some cleaning but we were told by the staff that this particular area would not be cleaned for some time and advised us we could wait for some guests to leave if we wanted. Once we got the table, we ordered our meals and wine. After 15 minutes the waiter came back to us to let us know the wine, we ordered was not available. We asked him for some basic information on the wines from the list, but instead of answering he said he could bring the bottle and we were to read of the sticker ourselves if we needed. Then he forgot about a meal for our friend. Over the whole time of our visit he would not come to us to check whether we were ok with everything. Instead, we had to go around the restaurant in search for him whenever we wanted to order something more. When we got the check, we found out we were charged for different wines than we ordered, with the wines on the bill being twice more expensive. We pointed that out but the management insisted we needed to pay since the wines had been served. I really regret we chose this place. Despite the meals being really good, this whole experience absolutely spoilt the atmosphere. I would not recommend it to anyone aiming at enjoying his /her time...

Be careful in this restaurant if you pay with a foreign card in EUR as the machine automatically made the conversion PLN to EUR which is more expensive as they charge a commission. I say automatically because the waitress promised me she didn’t see the question in the terminal to accept this exchange, so I have to trust her and say that they have a problem with the machine. Apart from this problem, the food is very tasty, delicious, cooked in a different way than others and with an outstanding presentation as you can see in my pictures. Dears, If we are talking about the ceremony then only in the garden, if we are talking about the wedding then only in the Art Bistro, and if we are talking about the accommodation then in the Art Hotel Stalowa 52. We had a wonderful time, we ate deliciously, the room was gorgeous, the managers were fantastic, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful it was.
