Bombaj Masala Mokotów — Restaurant in Warsaw

We had a fantastic dinner at Bombaj Masala the other night. We had the Vegetarian Platter (with Paneer Chilli) with an extra samosa, and for my meat eating husband, an additional Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Masala. To say we were satisfied would have been an understatement. Everything was delicious and each dish had a unique spice mix bursting with flavour. The Vegetarian Sizzler was incredible as was the Paneer Chilli. Service was top notch, as was the atmosphere.

Also the Polish white wine Solaris was exceptional. Being able to buy the various spice mixes made at the restaurant was also a bonus. And I can't forget to mention the meticulously packed leftovers, which we enjoyed the next...

This place is an absolute find! Was staying locally at the Holiday Inn express and this indian is just across the main road via a footbridge. Great food and selection of local beers (even got a taster without asking). Menu has great choice of starters and mains and unlike other curry houses I've been to, you don't need 3 x hours to read it. Smaller choice and excellent quality but more than enough to wet your appetite. Decor inside is very modern and although quite quiet on the day I was there (Wed night) the atmosphere was great. Vegeterain people, PLEASE NEVER ORDER from Bombay Masala. Today I ordered set of 2 veg and after waiting for 1 hour, I got Okra chicken instead of veg okra. Its not acceptable. The worst thing is when complained they didn't even apologize and was rude by disconnecting the call in between. After all the telephone calls they did offer me to give "veg okra and Mango lassi" but I rejected as I didn't wanted them to send me something to pacify me but wanted them to be sorry and make sure that it doesn't happen again with anyone else but their behavior was bad.
