Waited 1 hour for a delivery of a simple order, the driver called from a completely different location and despite repeatedly indicating him that he was at the wrong place, he kept insisting that there's no order here. Didn't bother to check where the real address was on Google Maps, instead from what I saw he was somewhere else, kilometers away. And then instead of trying to come to an arrangement., he just cancelled the order. Not a big deal in general, if it wasn´t for the fact that I'm sick and there's a reason I order delivery and not go meet someone in the rain that isn't even there to begin with. Oh, and I paid for "priority" delivery - and it was late anyway. What a joke.
To the reply below: feel free to investigate, I won´t do it on your beahlf. I shouldn´t have to investigate your logistics chain to see where the problem is. As far as I´m concerned, I ordered from your restaurant and the order wasn't delivered. Fix it and I'll remove the review. I assume (and hope) you only have one such recent order, so you know all...
Read moreThis is my favourite Indian restaurant in Warsaw. The food is fresh, not oily like in most Indian places, good quality with seizebale vegeterian dishes selection (eg. my favourite starter Hari Bahri). I like going out there both for drinks (sometimes special ones on demand) as well as for dinners. The interior is very cosy and the staff pay attention to table cleaning as soon as I have finished the meal, but not finished the meeting yet. Staff is friendly and inviting. And very open for feedback, which they try to turn into action immediately, which is not that common in Warsaw. Same goes for drivers in home delivery. But what I have the biggest admiration for is the restaurant great respect for food (eg. they stimulated me to take the leftovers for takeaway and eat later at home) and great heart for other humans. They participate in Smile Warsaw event feeding homeless people every week as well as some other initiatives, including sharing their profits from meals with...
Read moreI've been ordering food at Indian Taste for a couple years now, and as a person who used to often frequent Indian restaurants in London, I am genuinely very happy to have such a place on my doorstep. The service is always friendly, reliable, and surprisingly fast. Now that the company I work for is working from home, I've been ordering food to go more often now, and it's a matter of waiting 10-15 minutes between ordering and receiving my order. On occasions when I've ordered food for two from here for a date or special occasion, my dining partner was never disappointed.
I would say that it's a bit pricey, however the food always tastes great, so it's difficult for me to give them a minus for this. My favourite thing to order is the Chicken Biryani as it's for me the best value, taking into account that I can split the portion into two and have it for lunch and...
