IZUMI — Restaurant in Warsaw

🔴 DON’T EXPECT ME BACK, I’M DISAPPOINTED

The restaurant itself has a nice vibe … from outside. From inside you see how busy and croweded it is.

I ordered a Shoyu with Beef and I had to ask to change my first dish because the amount of beef, I’d say there was maximum 30g with lots of FAT! So, the worst part of the beef.

Luckily the waitress that was serving us was very nice (the second star is just because of her - you should thank her). She took my plate back and requested to change.

Then, finally the dish came a little bit better. I’d say acceptable, but could so much better as other places I’ve been to.

Also, these days is unacceptable to get in a restaurant with a menu without pictures. If you add pictures (it could be a link on the website) it would be so much enjoyable and easy to choose.

Besides, it’d show your quality because only a restaurant with quality has its menu pictures exactly like it comes to the table.

To sum up, I left the restaurant very disappointed because it was TOO EXPENSIVE to...

Got Teriyaki chicken and the rib eye steak. Both dishes were good and I liked the chicken more than the steak. Not big on sweetness as teriyaki can be but the flavour was well balancedb/w sweet and salty. The corriander and garlic sauce were not that strong on the steak which was cooked well. The packaging was good, tight and lot of cuttlery was provided. Got two bowls of rice and 4 different sauces to go along with the dishes. The quantity of chicken was more than enough for 1 person.

Got Shogayaki this time and it was good. The flavours were not strong and the sauce went well with the rice. The quantity is good for one peron but may not be fullfilling.

The one thing that the restaurant needs to improve upon is the packaging as the sauce tends to leak from the plastic container and when aluminium foil is removed, that leads to a mess. Hope they pay...

I am so disappointed with one of my favorite place for the last three years so far! I am frequently there as live close by Galmok and ofc this place was the only spot I eat in this shopping mall.

I’ve noticed nigiri set became very tiny. I remember the times when it was hard to put a piece of nigiri in your mouth as it was big, or having ordered one set of it you could be completely full. Nova days it’s just a joke а) small sets b) the quality of the fish is terrible these days

Today I refused tuna - looked weird, smelled awful (see pictures an an evidence)!

Hope an administration of this restaurant take this as very important message and make an actions to became exceptional again!
